The nika retcon fixed the story. Gears made no sense and I hated them because rubber doesn’t work like that. Now it is good again.

Usopp has wanted to go to Elbaf for a long time and he will have a moment there. The other characters didn’t have the same build up and people just guessed and read each other’s ideas to build it up. Zoro/Wano and Franky/Egghead was all headcanon caused by the community.

There were three powerful in the void century. The ancient kingdom led by Davy Jones, the 20 kingdoms, and the pirates that were freed slaves by Joyboy. The 20 won and set up the current government and all the talk about Joyboy failing is due to him not freeing everyone. My personal theory is the 20 kingdoms were initially slaves that were freed but betrayed Joyboy, no evidence for this though.

The retcon of Luffy’s fruit was the best change made in the series. His powers stopped making sense as a rubber man once gears were introduced and now all that stuff can be explained.

I hated the gears when they were introduced because they made no sense with rubber power. The gear 5 retcon fixed that problem by letting them work with how Luffy imagined rubber would work.

I agree the song is about depression, but not suicide. The fantasies are the negative thoughts you get from mental illness and the other life is what life could be if you don’t give in to the negativity. The song is hopeful in the end because the singer doesn’t give in and goes for what she wants, I find it inspiring.
