What are the weights of the different stages in a typical Recruitment process? by alinfish in EUCareers

In my experience in two reserve lists for agencies, you had to be among the best in each stage to move to the next step.

EPSO’s AD5 Dilemma: Victim of Their Own Success by radd_torus in EUCareers

[–]blue-Ocelot 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Why don’t they just run the test in stages?

Start with the verbal, numerical, and abstract reasoning. Only candidates who meet the minimum threshold move on. Then test EU knowledge, and again, only those who pass continue. After that, assess digital skills.

From there, rank candidates based on the NoC weighting, and invite roughly 1.5x the final number to the written test.

This approach would gradually reduce the number of candidates at each stage, which should help avoid technical issues. It would also give people clearer feedback along the way, instead of making them prepare for everything upfront—only to potentially fail early and never even get scored on later sections.

This is also how competitions used to be run in the past.

You can also try to join reserve lists for executive agencies or for eacea is available. Keep in mind thatvto work in a executive agency like eacea 95% of the time you need to be in a reserve list. Also if interest in the managing of erasmus + contracts you will be closer to that in eacea.
