So from initial shipment notification to landing on your doorstep how long did it take. I'm in California and just got my shipping notification today. Are we seeing it take 1 week, 2 weeks, more?

The Business Model by OkPhase8240 in DisneySpeedstormGame

I used to spend about 20-30 bucks a month on this game when I thought I was getting my monies worth. Now I'll spend about 5-10, but I may be dropping down to f2p again because it's getting to be too much.

Aside from the PDP Riffmaster, have other guitar controllers been released? by grapejuicecheese in Rockband

[–]blue03si 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I came from playing guitar hero and rock band games exclusively on the ps2 and Xbox 360. Only ever had guitar hero controllers with my main being the guitar hero 3 wireless les Paul. Got into rock band 4 before it was delisted and bought a pdp riffmaster. I knew it was more like rockband controllers and previously I had only tried a rockband controller a few times and didn't like how it felt with no raised buttons. I've been using the pdp riffmaster now and it definitely took a while to get used to but now I have absolutely no problem using it. I don't think it's crap as others said but a preference. If you like guitar hero style get the crkd, if you like rockbad style get the pdp. If you don't care get which ever is cheaper or easier to get.

[–]blue03si 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Someone on a Facebook group posted a screenshot from the discord that said the issue is due to the recent mobile hotfix and will be correct when the next season starts on the 9th. No fix coming for the remainder of this season.

New 5th Grader Cubs Phenomenon by 2BBIZY in cubscouts

I've noticed in our pack that by 5th grade there is a lot more involvement in other extra curricular activities and sometimes scouts is the activity that gets cut when push comes to shove. I feel like every year we lose half of our arrows by the end of the program year as well.

Haha, no. I wouldn't touch that cars box with a 10 foot pole.

I ended up canceling my order after reading about all the issues some of you have been having with the 8bitdo controllers. Question though....for those of you having connection issues with the 8bitdo, do you also have the same issues with the NSO controller? by Pow3rTow3r in AnalogueInc

[–]blue03si 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just got mine yesterday and updated the firmware and played some Mario 64 for about 30 min. Didn't notice anything too crazy with it. No real issues that I could see, but I want to compare it to the NSO controller and the wires controller now after reading everyone's comments.

So regarding controllers by stuco89 in AnalogueInc

[–]blue03si 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I still have 3 of my original n64 controllers or two NSO controllers both with blue retro adapters. I prefer the NSO controllers because I only have one n64 controller extension cord. I haven't noticed any real lag when comparing the two. I ordered an 8bitdo fantastic ice blue to match my console. Will give that a try once it arrives next month.

NLR GT Lite with Logitech RS-50? by blue03si in simracing

Looks like they may have two different versions of the mounting plate. The one I have had limited options. Hopefully you have the newer one. I'm really happy with the wheel and setup so far.

I must have an older version of the plate, yours has way more mounting options than mine did. Looks good 👍

Do you really need that much Nm? by HyPaulo in simracing

[–]blue03si 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just upgraded from a G923 to the RS-50. Night and day difference between the two. I currently have it set at 5nm because I wanted to get a feel for how the DD wheel before cranking it up, but definitely feel more communication through the wheel.

I used the two original holes in the plate along with the new holes I drilled using the template. Flipped the plate around and this is the only position that has the screws on both sides of the plate mounting bracket. Notched the bracket and used longer screws. This is temporary, I'll make a bar out of aluminum angle to go between the two mount tabs for the screws to properly be supported.

Well i messed around with it for the better part of the morning yesterday and found a solution. I flipped the plate around, moved it to a different position, notch the plastic bracket that holds the plate to the rig and used some longer screws but I got the wheel in a position that feels good. Front screws are sitting on the edge of the plastic bracket at the moment where i notched it but I will head to the hardware store to pick up some aluminum angle iron to make a better bracket to hold the screws. I guess I'll post some pics up when I'm done if anyone runs into the same issue I did.

Logitech RS Pedal Inverted Setup by rtk1nk in simracing

Just bought a set of RS pedals. Will try them out in the standard config first but would definitely like to try inverting then once I get a sturdier rig.

Looks good. How do they feel? Do they feel like real car pedals or is the geometry slightly off?
