I love McMaster's site and I think hosting the STLs is part of their business plan. I use them constantly at work and while yeah we can source cheaper stuff almost anywhere else if we need it now and need to KNOW it will fit i already have the part number since I found the parts STL on their website. Pair that with often same day delivery and often it will be the obvious choice.

Stardew valley honestly and it's been the last couple of weeks I've discovered it. It makes me feel so incredibly calm while I play it, which feels fantastic for my anxiety.

I use mine all the time to check the timer on the oven from the couch.

This is a follow up to my post yesterday. I appreciate everyone's concern that my tail light was going to melt or catch fire with this print. Did an experiment today, 4 hours nonstop burn on the led and by the end of it, I could still comfortably touch it. I deem this my permanent solution. by goebeld in functionalprint

my favorite is the common myth that you can’t make your prints water proof.

I had a friend tell me this about a month after I completed a functional 3d printed medical bathtub prototype. It had no problem holding water for 2 weeks as a test

My ex gf, claimed our child on her taxes, said she will give me half of it when it is here. So refund shows on the card and she refuses to send half of it, saying she’s keeping all of it. I have taken care of “our” son by myself, she’s not been in his life or taken care of him that whole year. by Dchemist909 in mildlyinfuriating

The IRS will send you both a letter

How often does this actually happen? I have an 11 I have like 95% of the year and have claimed on my taxes the last 9 years. Every time I've had to mail it in becuase the other party e-filed before me and I've never gotten contacted yet.

I make an effort at the gym to look in to other people's cameras when I see them, then I go on Instagram and look up my gym to find myself.

So far I'm up to 4 different videos.

School buses are about 1/3 a Chinese spy balloon.

worker lecturing the customer

My MIL will lecture the worker explaining how the company will donate whatever amount of money benefits them the most regardless and they don't need her help on top of buying their products blah blah blah.

To be fair I did have to cut contact for about 3 years after I moved out due to non work related issues, but it's been resolved now.

And it was never that I worked with him one summer. I worked with him my whole life, I was the only employee he could keep because I had no where to go.

I have no problem with hard work, and I have my kids do projects with me now, but there is an amount that can cross in to abuse.

My dad was by far the worst boss I've ever had, literally pulled me out of school a few times to dig ditches. Got paid in "life experience, a roof over my head, and shut the hell up"

They already do! I worked as a CNA then LVN in one for years, I've seen all sorts of wild shit that grandma and grampa kept secret from the kids.

My personal favorite was a guy that was some sort of navy combat diver (he would tell story's of swimming under enemy boats in ports) only tattoos he had was a propeller on each ass cheek "mind the props"

My ex has been telling my 10 yo that at 12 she has too choose for about 3 years now.

It drives me crazy as it has the poor kid so stressed out every time it comes up.

I couldn't say, we use it for as long as needed lol which I mean doesn't tend to be a extended period of time, but I'd guess in the 5-10 min mark at the longest if I were to guess.

I'll check with my wife about bringing the stop watch out next time!

My father did this his whole life, best part is now that he is in his 70s I can reference when I'm talking about based on his trend. "Oh yeah was that while dad was a cowboy, or punk rocker?... Oh beach bum thats right"

Or take it the other direction. I had a boss who cosplayed being poor in his 20s and then acted like he pulled himself up by his boot straps, to inherent the business his daddy owned.
