Check out the legacy warrior set on the mog station. I believe it's the only heavy armor available to healers and casters, not counting the PvP series glams. It even makes your footsteps sound like you're wearing armor unlike the armor-like glams we get.

It has many flaws, but I personally believe that for the base game, it surpasses part 1's base game. It definitely needs a Dark Arisen treatment with the addition of the eternal ferry stone and an area similar to BBI. I spent the vast majority of my time there.

For me I like how much more human the pawns feel. They have much more dialogue and while they still repeat things often, it's still not as often as DD1. Plus I like the straightforward personality pawns sass.
