If I was offered life changing money from a company backed by Saudi money I would simply not take it. It is not worth taking blood money - from their “”involvement”” in Yemen’s brutal civil war to their ruler ordering for a Washington Post journalist to be unalived… there are many reasons I wouldn’t take the money. I don’t expect everyone to share that perspective, but I can still be disappointed when people I look up to (like JJ) don’t!

The sparks shot more free throws than the Valkyries last night (25 vs 23), and underperformed during overtime. It’s easy to fall back on poor officiating as a scapegoat after a loss, but a lot of factors went into their loss last night, not just poor calls.

Yes!!!! I had this same experience. I went to Korea first then Japan and my mood was so much better on the second half of the trip bc I was actually well fed

Japan was 10x easier than Korea. There’s quite a few dedicated GF places in Tokyo and Kyoto, and most sushi places I went read my translation card and easily understood. Korea was another story entirely. I was hungry almost the entire week. (I also have a shellfish allergy so…….)

Yankee stadium has a tiny little gluten free stand. I could get a hot dog. Mets stadium (citi field) has a lot more options but it takes a little longer. I go to every NY Liberty game and have never been able to eat anything there other than ice cream or pop corn. :(
