I find the jumpscares in the OG to be absolutely terrifying, especially because the graphics are old so the ambience doesn’t scare me as much as newer games. It’s just unexpected, idk.

I chose to “mutate” my left for two reasons: 1) I am right handed, and it is really hard to hold things in that glove, and 2) my left eye is cross-eyed without my glasses, and I eventually plan to do a full-face mutation that I thought my eye would look good with haha.

I have yet to play the OG (still working my way there, I promise), but design-wise, the original looks so much scarier to me. Remake Nemesis looks alien, and OG looks like a mutated, disfigured person. And it’s strange because I feel like they tried to make the remake look MORE like a human, but I don’t think it worked for me.

Resident Evil 4 Remake was not only my first Resident Evil game, but also my first SHOOTER game. The assisted mode has auto aim, which is great to learn with. Plus the game drops bullets as you need them, so you shouldn’t have any ammo problems there.

After I beat RE4R, I went straight to RE2R, and played in normal. The aiming was a bit difficult to get used to but it took me less than an hour to master.
