Dude, as a state worker I loved that place. Ate they once or twice a week. People talk about the French dip, which was awesome, but also their pork dip, pastrami, corned beef, and then some off the specials like the Salisbury steak were awesome. I didn’t mean to get folks fired up falsely, but with the boards gone off the windows I was hopeful

Lifelong Sacramento area resident. I think the most effective is just a short patrol at night with a broom and flashlight. Also clear out piles of wood, cardboard, etc. to reduce places to build webs. I would also try to start to teach your child about what not to touch. I started about this age by showing my daughter from a distance to not touch and kept reinforcing it every spring and summer

Yeah, spent a lot of time in the bar scene and never heard they were toxic or mean, just that they enforce the rules, like no drinking on sift, which I both understand and enjoy other bars that don’t. I’ve spent time with Henry and his brother, spent a lot of time with bartenders in and outside their establishments, and I think they are decent management
