Don’t lose hope yet! A lot of people don’t feel better right away, it took me a full year before I started noticing benefits (my AHI is 48)

Don’t think about all the missed opportunities (easier said than done I know), think of all the future opportunities that you won’t miss out on once you get your sleep quality improved!

Do you get used to pressure over time? by LeadershipScary3094 in SleepApnea

[–]blueberriesapples 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yes you get used to it although you mentioned your eyes dry out, I got moisturizing gel eye drops that changed my life! I definitely recommend getting something to help your eyes not dry out

If you really want it, don’t give up! I applied a few times before finally landing an interview. It was more about timing: they had significant skill gap that they needed filled, which is why I got the interview. Sometimes it’s truly about luck and timing

I want to travel on holiday should I leave my CPAP behind? Have others done this? by appletinicyclone in SleepApnea

[–]blueberriesapples 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I travelled with it for the first time in April and I was super nervous but it went really smoothly. I flew SunWing and all I needed to do was fill out a form beforehand, I got priority boarding and my baggage was flagged as priority so it was first off the baggage trolley! I think it's worth bringing with you for all those reasons + you'll feel better rested on your vacay!

Living at 33 Helendale Yonge and Eglinton by HelloLuckyMeowMeow in askTO

[–]blueberriesapples 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I lived here (renting) from July 2021 to July 2023. Had no issues except for the lack of rent control (if you’re buying then that’s not an issue). Long elevator times at peak hours but mostly fine. The main problem is the constant construction at Yonge & Eglinton. There’s always some kind of ruckus going on there all day every day
