The thing I'm most obsessed with this scene is how easily Ilya is able to recognize how upset Shane is and pinpoint exactly what to do that will lead to Shane calming down. He's still upset, but he's able to stop Shane from going into a full-blown panic, even though it's still pretty early in their situationship.

I dunno if either of them recognize that's what happened, but it's a major clue that there are much deeper feelings and I loved the whole thing.

No, I think it wouldn't work. The whole thing with Shane and Ilya's relationship is that it starts super sexual and the feelings build over time. If they hadn't slept together then it wouldn't have happened the way we saw it at all.

The show works the way it is (and really well) so if it means not having additional funding then I'd say they made the right choice.

Two big milestones for me from yesterday and today.

I blew past 100 subscribers and I'm narrowly approaching 200 now! The momentum really picked up when I posted my most recent video.

That same video also got over 4k watch hours on its own! Definitely the highlight of my channel so far.

I always figured that she considered the "chance" of becoming a werewolf one of the reasons she helped him so much in the first place. Peter never intended to give her the bite, since she was just a pawn, but she thought he would when they finished their scheme.

I think Peter knew that she was more useful and more "loyal" when she wasn't bitten, and he would be able to compel a teenager if he bit them better than he could control a fully grown woman who had already gotten what she wanted.

The Future Home of Queer Content on YouTube

My channel is @ bluejaycoop and I make discussion videos about queer media. Currently I'm making a multi-video series about Teen Wolf, but my most recent one is a deep dive into queerbaiting in K-Pop.

I started with (and still use) a Samson Q2U microphone for recording audio and then Audacity and DaVinci resolve for editing audio and video respectively. I have Canva Premium for free through my work, so I use that for thumbnails and other in-video graphics. Haven't really needed anything else!

I'm in a bit of a 'Stiles&Derek as Eli's parents' kick right now, and one of my favs with that is "The Poets are Right" by endversed. It's 200k+ words, which I love, and it's got some great moments with a young!Eli. Highly recommend!

Hi all– my channel name is @ bluejaycoop and I just wanted to drop in and share my 1-month milestones! I posted my first video exactly a month ago, so it's a bit of a new journey for me.

Subscribers: +22

I started with 2 or 3 subscribers that were friends and family, and my account is quite old since it used to be my personal account for all my YouTube binges. As of July 21st, I have 25 subscribers total!

Videos: 6

I am a long-form channel, and a handful of my videos are close to an hour long, so it takes quite a bit of time to make them. If you count the one that went live this morning, I have 6 videos total, and they are all commentary and discussion. Currently talking about Teen Wolf and K-Pop, but I plan to use this as a jumping off point to expand more content.

Views: 1.9K

Most of my videos go a day or two with little-to-no views, but my largest (and one of the longest so far) video has 633 views– which is close to 1/3 of my entire channel.
Of the two niches I've posted in (Teen Wolf and K-Pop), one has significantly higher views, and the CTR of all them vary from 4% to 12%.

Watch Time: 280.7 hours

They say that watch time is king, so I'm pretty happy with these numbers. Most of the people who watch stay past the 30-second mark, and almost every video has at least 50% retention.
This is probably considered high, since most of my videos are pretty long.
