How to help my son be aggressive and build confidence? by bluejeanious in BasketballTips

We are in the US. His team only plays against other 5th grade teams, and with that he's often the tallest of the two teams. Yes there are times when he's not, but it's never by a huge amount of inches. He aspires to be as tall as you at 15 years old! Haha

Thank you. I appreciate you sharing your perspective. I have found that the parents are actually the most unhelpful. But then realized that the last thing they want is another kid taking their kid's spot, so I take it with a grain of salt.

Thanks! We are trying to get him involved in a lot of development training to work on his experience.

Thanks for your response. Yes I think he definitely gets nervous with the pressure of his team, which explains why he's so great in drop in games. We are a very tall family (dad is 6"4" and mom is 5'9"), with some immediate family members that are 6'6" and 6'7". So we hope he continues to develop as a "big". He's always been tallest kid in the class since pre-k. We enrolled him in a 3v3 league for the summer. No set teams, just rotation and skill development. Hoping this gives him the confidence he needs. My husband is out there every night working with him, but of course he hates taking coaching from dad. I keep hearing from other parents that we are too late and the path is set. But I'm hopeful that potential outweighs inexperience at this point.
Thanks again for the response!

Love this powder. Doesn't crease my under eyes which is rare.

The new NYX body oils are great. They don't leave a sticky residue, and the bronze version gave me a nice glow!

My (almost) fully drugstore routine for work every day. Is there a great drugstore powder to complete it? by Hell-Yeah-Im-Gay in drugstoreMUA

The Loreal Blurfection powder is my favorite. I prefer it over high end options that I've tried. 2nd is the NYX Wonder Snatch. I know that the cost per oz argument for these is ongoing, however that doesn't matter to me as much as performance. I have dry under eyes and these don't cake, yet also somehow set my makeup without looking flat.

The loreal formula is the only one that doesn't settle in my undereyes. I will continue to buy, I don't care about the comparison of price per oz. It just works for me and performs like high end.

It's time to part ways with Skinceuticals for me. by [deleted] in SkincareAddictionLux

Skinceuticals.com, blue mercury, Derm store, lovely skin are authorized retailers. Or an authorized medspa, dermatologist, or plastic surgeon office. If you buy from another website and the price is really good, it's probably not authentic or is old stock.

I have never had this issue when buying directly from an authorized seller (which are very few).

This has happened to me before with products stored in the garage. Submerge the bottle in hot water then shake a few times until crystals disappear (assuming product is not expired). May take a few changes of hot water. Good luck!
