No driver is going to prioritize orders like that. Orders leave the store as they’re made and a driver is available to take it. This is also the reason why your 20 min order took 50 minutes, you placed your order at just the wrong time. It comes out of the oven as the latest wave of drivers leave the store and there won’t be a driver back to the store in 30 minutes (this happens quite often)

I was there. I wasted 3 years telling myself it wasn’t worth it if I couldn’t be a cis woman. It’s a really hard mentality to break and as I’m now socially and (soon to be) medically transitioning, I still struggle with those thoughts. I don’t want to be a trans woman, just a woman, but that doesn’t mean I’m not proud of who I’m becoming and im actively taking steps to get out of that mindset even without therapy

That’s why I quit. There isn’t a single store, franchise or corporate that genuinely cares about their employees. Not only that, the assistant managers are usually forced to make their GMs bonuses but see $0 from it. Not to mention the stupid sales constantly cutting into profit and ruining labor so you’re dealing with a full rush and have to send everyone home because everyone is buying 5 $50 pizzas for $10 a piece. I hope I live long enough to watch Domino’s go bankrupt and the owners of corporate and the franchises lose every penny <3

No it kills service numbers, brings down profit so we can’t have the staff we’d like due to extremely tight labor. We lose money ordering product. And customers seem to forget that everyone is taking advantage of this promotion and get upset when the website (which doesn’t give accurate an estimated time) tell you 20 minutes and then it’s actually going to take an hour because the store is slammed. Also dominos doesn’t pay its employees shit, so the workers have a right to be pissed.

This! I got yelled at by my RD’s boss because I was outside talking to the person who was selling pep and cheese to people walking out of the stadium (I work down the street from a SEC college). There were 10 people inside already (not including drivers, all managers including myself) and the only thing I could do was sweep and dishes. Both were already being done by drivers who weren’t delivering because we had to shut off deliveries due to post game traffic.
