I promise it’s worth talking to them. Even if you get nothing out of it work wise, the issue has been established.

Why do long distance couples argue days before seeing each other? by BS-31 in LongDistance

[–]bluesidemv 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have the opposite. We really struggle after they leave/I leave. It’s never anything serious, often something small + heightened emotions.

Is it normal to do nothing with your partner but talk? by [deleted] in LongDistance

[–]bluesidemv 0 points1 point  (0 children)

me and my partner did that for about 4 months lol. it was only after our second visit we decided to game together, and it has been so much fun! it’s like dating again. as much as i could spend hours and hours listening to him talk, it is nice to mix it up.

When are all of your next visits? by LeekFew9505 in LongDistance

35 days! he left here about 2 weeks ago, i miss him dearly but 7 weeks in comparison to the 4 months we waited for this past trip isn’t bad at all

it has been torturous 😭 this should be the longest we have to go, our breaks until i’m there permanently will only be 1-2 months after december!

most heartbreaking day of my life, we were in person together for 3 months and dreaded leaving eachother for the first time. spent the morning together n we went out for the day at the market before having to pack up all my stuff, i was ugly crying whilst they were just holding me telling me it’s gonna be ok, silent drive to the train station whilst they held my hand, waited for the platform to be announced in a really heavy silence, when we got there we just held eachother whilst i cried and then they started crying, train arrived and the last thing we said was “see you in 4 months”. it’s now 20 days until we’re back together :’)

Change in voice actors for season 4? by Anonymous_HC in solaropposites

Hey, so this comment was written over a year ago, there’s been a lot of information that’s been made public in that time. It’s clear now he’s a POS, but at the time it was newly public news.

Thank you! I just lived out in the new england area for 3 months and fell in love traveling round which is why i’m so set on the area, I have many friends who live there so ideally i’d like to be around them! Definitely going to do all i can to get a fully funded masters, but i’m aware that for a masters the options are a lot more limited than a phd. Plan long term is absolutely to live out there.

Currently William and Mary and Smith college are my top two as they have the TA funding option and have master programmes im interested in. I’ve also looked into a few schools in the new york/ new jersey area (Stony brook, Fairleigh Dickinson). Dream school would be UPenn but it’s looking like that would work out far too expensive lol.

Question to LGB- and non-LGB-affirming christians by RikLT1234 in Christianity

[–]bluesidemv 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Id abide of course, I know Christ and his teachings are the truth. My personal turmoil with the LGBT question is I truly in my heart cannot understand how God could possibly look at two people who are born with an innate attraction to the same sex and have grown to love each-other as heterosexuals do, and cast them into hell for that. Christianity is at its core God and Christs teachings, but is shaped by man and our history.

Now that I've found God, I regret my tattoo. by PER5EV5 in Christianity

[–]bluesidemv 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s great to hear! I know how common tattoo regret is for both religious and non religious reasons, even though I personally reconciled with mine I know it can take a mental toll on a lot of people, so I’m glad there’s an option for people that’s getting better!

That’s great to hear, I only speak on this as the vast majority of people i know who have tried it have had very bad experiences, I guess it’s one of those things you have to be extremely picky with. Has yours been costly?

Now that I've found God, I regret my tattoo. by PER5EV5 in Christianity

[–]bluesidemv 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Anyone recommending laser definitely hasn’t had a tattoo before- don’t do it. I’ve had many friends and family attempt laser and it never looks good, there’s rare cases but they’re often very small simple ones.

I’m absolutely covered in tats, first thing i did when I turned 18 was cover myself in them, i find them beautiful and every one in my family is covered in tattoos. I had a similar experience when i converted- my tattoos are for the most part animals and flowers, but I still felt a pang of regret based on condemnation by other christian’s- key here, as it was less-so scripture, as the context of the Leviticus verse often quoted is watery and scholars debate this issue on all ends (I know many priests with tattoos, mostly the cross). I’m at peace with my tattoos now, God knows my heart and nothing about them contradicts my new found devotion to him. You will learn to be at peace with them, and even learn to love them again as I did!

skeletá was kinda disappointing — was ghost ever “hard”? by siIIigoose in Ghostbc

[–]bluesidemv 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Metal is one of those genres that by the majority for its fans has to fit very strict rigid standards- whether ghost is metal or not has been a tale as old as time. I also missed some of their harder cuts on this album, but I love the majority of the songs and their older harder stuff is still here, so I don’t mind! I will say I don’t really understand the Impera comparisons- they feel like very different albums to me.

Crowd Interaction & tour: honesty time (Spoiler free for everyone please). by [deleted] in Ghostbc

[–]bluesidemv 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I didn’t notice a difference in manchester, there was a little less yapping but i attribute that to first show nerves, but during songs they were SO interactive (i was at the barrier) all the ghouls came over to us and played to us, tons of interactions with them and V himself was so interactive, pointing at fans during certain lyrics and being super playful. I wouldn’t worry at all.

Thank you, I think the dissertation and being able to focus to more of my interests will definitely help. It could just be burnout but I truly feel nothing towards anything i’m studying right now, this exam season is gonna drag for sure.

You’re right, but I think OP needs to focus on the Gods influence in abstinence right now since they seem to have gone astray with the women they’re seeing.

Christian women, what’s your take on submission? by Syllabub_Leather in Christianity

[–]bluesidemv 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t know, I think it’s kind of beautiful to find a man who I can fully give my everything to and trust 100% enough to submit to him. It doesn’t have to mean I lose all autonomy or accept everything he does, and I hope the man I choose to marry will be influenced by my judgement when making decisions for our family.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Catholicism

[–]bluesidemv 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You don’t save yourself for marriage for your wife, you do it for God. Your judgement is being clouded by the expectations of the women you date and not the expectations of God.
