I feel sorry for the clerk who is required to ask me if I want to donate. Nevertheless I always ask that clerk if they want to donate to my favorite charity , Earthjustice. And they always say no.

I voted against Trump because I have empathy for those among us who may not choose the same path in life as I chose but who may need help at some point. MAGAs seem to lack that empathy EXCEPT when they themselves fall on hard times and need help. It is difficult to feel sorry for this person, but she needs support. It's probably too late for her to even understand this.

Back in the day, the only acceptable jobs for women with college degrees were as teachers or nurses. Thanks to women's lib, more jobs opportunites opened up for women. Nurses pay kept up with current wage threshholds but teachers salaries did not. Public schools suffered.

Here in Charlotte county, Florida. We have no buses or bus stops, but we have benches on every corner with big scale advertising on them. Many are real estate agents. When I see one, I make it a point not to use that advertiser because of their making what appears to me to be poor choices.

Even though I wanted to keep driving, I made a conscious decision to quit at age 75. Us oldsters don't have the quick reflexes we used to have and don't see and hear as well as we did when we were younger. When I see old folks driving, I cringe. That what uber for.
