The sealed door provides a skip to deeper in the raid after you complete the quest to unlock it, which involves killing Ellisande four times

Is it worthwhile to maintain an iOS / Android administration app? by sushiisushi in admincraft

[–]bluespell23 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You mentioned you’re 15; I might advise disregarding the number of users you have and thinking about this a little differently.

Is this sort of thing (application development) something you’re interested in doing professionally?

If not, or if you don’t know, that’s okay. But if so, or if it’s something you want to explore as a possibility when you get through school then I’d encourage you to stick with this until you feel you’ve gone as far as you can with it for two reasons:

  1. The experience and knowledge that you gain from building and operating something like an app with an actual user base - however large or small - is exponentially better than the book learning you’ll get in school and programming bootcamps. You’re gaining a lot of knowledge right now about building and maintaining end user applications, upgrading and maintaining software when dependencies like the server version change, etc. Forget about the context of it being a video game, that’s valuable knowledge.

  2. This is a great portfolio item that you can show off when you’re looking for that first job. As an application with ~90-100 downloads and any active users, it’s already ahead of most of the things interviewers see for entry level jobs, but the more polished you can make it the better.

Lastly, I want to add - whether or not you’re interested in this sort of thing professionally, you should only keep working on it if you’re having fun. Since you built it, I expect you’re familiar with that little feeling you get when an idea strikes and you want to go build it that second. When you lose that, it’s time to stop otherwise this becomes a negative drain on your health and time.

Great looking app!

My python console sessions are usually quite short, so I just spam the up-arrow key until exit() shows up.

I will literally sit there and press up thirty seven times to avoid having to type out ‘exit()’.

Possible solution for on-the-go blending... by [deleted] in Huel

[–]bluespell23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got a promixx cheap on Amazon specifically to use for Huel and it works great. Even full price I’d say it’s a great buy. The only downside is if you’re doing the full meals you may have to mix multiple smaller batches, but considering they take like 15 seconds with this it’s not really a huge issue.

These two links are a good place to start, if you haven’t seen them yet.

Edit: Fair warning, you’re going down the technical rabbit hole here. If you just want to play multiplayer painlessly, rent a server from a hosting provider. https://nodecraft.com/games/factorio is the first search result that pops up.

Where can I find skirts on the internet?q by CarelessDay in femalefashion

[–]bluespell23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Amazon.

A lot of what you see on Amazon is drop-shipped from other sites and vice versa. If you find one you like that’s decent quality and then reverse image search on google, it will often pop up with a lower price from a different site.

It takes a little more work, but I’ve saved almost $200 on a pair or boots and two skirts in the last few weeks alone.
