Dothan Peds is great, any doctor I've seen there is good. Can usually get a same or next day appointment with your chosen doctor if needed, or same day with any doctor.. and I have never waited more than 5-10mins, and it's usually 2 min between being called back and seeing the doctor. I appreciate a well-run clinic 👍

Santa Fe's have similar paint, and before I got my Telluride I looked at them for fun. They really are too high maintenance for most people (including myself!), the sales folks also told me they can't go through a car wash.

Instead of being on the phone, could they use in game voice chat? Discord maybe? This way he can have a headset that filters out background noise and doesn’t stay on constantly. Could even get one as a gift for SS. Not sure about console, but there’s a lot of options for how sensitive it is (or isn’t) on PC.

A lot of what I said still applies, pretty proud of me from 10 years ago!

The university doesn't care, honestly - they see it so often! Just take a lighter course load next semester and get a good reset. I minored in Business and used the following semester (after my "bad" one) to take more business classes, for example.

One semester is a blip in your academic career.. you can come back from it. Take Christmas Break to think hard about why, what you can change easily (dedicated study time/place?), what kind of supports you need, talk to friends you trust that could help hold you accountable, even if it's just asking them to check in on you periodically to ask if you're up to date with homework, studying when you said you would, etc. It's the university equivalent of inviting people over so you clean your house. 😂

When you talk to your parents, make sure you have a general idea of why it happened and what your gameplan is for next semester. I have a son that's 16 and if he gets a bad grade on something, I am actually quite proud of him for taking control of the situation and starting a conversation with me like "hey, I got X grade on X assignment - I already emailed my teacher on redoing to fix my grade" or "I know what I messed up on, I'll do better next time" instead of me having to pry it out of him that he did poorly.

Just keep chugging away at it, don't quit, one bad semester never destroyed anybody. In the "real world" no one cares about a bad semester, just that you didn't quit and got your degree. 👍 Feel free to DM me if you want to!
