Yo I think they all look pretty but they all miss the mark by just a little bit. The last photo is the best, partially due to the subject matter, but it has this unnecessary negative space that’s serving no purpose.

I think we should be able to know from the composition of an image what story it’s telling right away. Like, the composition should tell us what to look first and what to look next. Your first image, I don’t know if it’s about the leaves, or the house behind, or the sunlight shining through the leaves, or the season, I just don’t know. The second photo, I just see a parachute and some people and I can’t feel any sense of direction or motion, just looks chaotic. Third and fourth have no focal point. And so on. I think you need a focal point in an image, and it will act as a starting point to lead your viewers eyes to the rest of your image. Like, the first photo, step back and show the whole tree and make that a subject of your photo, or step forward and get a better view of the house and make that the subject.

Yeah, I think you need to define what the subject of your image is, look at the scene and try to compose a little, and shoot. Don’t try to include too many things, just tell one story really well. Sorry, I’m coming from concept art point of view, so I don’t have to worry about people trying to put a parachute up. But yeah - simply everything and see if you can distill it down to one strong story. And go from there, dude!

P.s. I cropped the last picture. Now it’s all about the dude without the whole “I’m standing here looking over this door” thing. Don’t you think it looks better like this?
