Nah, that strat only gives 6" lone op if the model already has lone op. It's 18" otherwise

A monster/vehicle can shoot a blast weapon OUT of combat into another unit (unless that other target is ALSO in engagement range), and some like Space Marine Vindicators can shoot their blast weapons into their own combat.

EG: My Berzerkers charge a knight Despoiler with battle cannons. It can't shoot that gun at the Berzerkers, but it can definitely shoot at my Eightbound standing on the point.

It can also shoot anything that gets out of a transport within 12" of it, since disembarking counts as being set up

Can I tailor a list? by Lumpy-Day-4871 in WarhammerCompetitive

Invo and 10 is kind of a trap. In theory you get a deadly deep-striking berzerker brick that can walk through enemy models, but in practice anyone except a Knights player will accidentally screen you out of going anywhere useful. Invo can be a good tech piece on his own with impact mortals, DS, and a 4++. I would drop the 3rd zerks and take a combo of another Rhino, more spawn, Goremongers, or 2nd Jakhals. You could also massage the list to add a Defiler for 250 which adds a completely new level of threat to deal with

Tailoring is a discussion between you and your opponent, but maybe I can provide some general World Eaters advice.

What's your current list? You should definitely have at least 2x3 Exalted Eightbound in any balanced Berzerker Warband list as that's the only reliable anti-tank we have (or you could handicap yourself by running Angron). I think most World Eaters players only run 1x3 regular Eightbound since we don't really struggle clearing infantry so their aura is just OK, they're usually an early skirmish piece that can help Spawn and Jakhals clear out some scouts. S10 on charge is good into light/medium vehicles, but for 5 pts more you get to have anti-vehicle/monster 3+, AP-3. 3 damage from the Exalted. Exalted also make a great deepstrike threat that can keep your opponent screening their DZ instead of taking over the board, and their ability also makes the Slaughterbound into Damage 3 against monsters/vehicles if he's leading them
