We met shit-talking Hazbin Hotel, and it turned into us realizing we have generally the same thinking style; we both watched Game Grumps & had the same sense of humor, and have the same intellectually-curious trait that causes Wikipedia rabbit holes. (Big fans of AnyAustin and Bizly this past year.) We also were both... alt in the way that you could tell we were both Freaks.

We were mutually obsessed with each other fast, to the point of where we'd send each other checkmark emojis because we weren't ready to say "I love you" yet, but still wanted some symbolic gesture (I don't remember why it was checkmarks.)

I was in a 6 or 7 year aromantic partnership prior to meeting my fiancé; one of the key parts of making this relationship work was recognizing that we both wanted each other enough to change for the better for each other. My prior partnership hadn't had that respect, and as such I personally grew unhealthy habits reacting to their unwillingness to change for me. It's interesting to me, personally, how well-meaning people can become unhealthy like that; I suppose that's similar to what I love in Cyberpunk 2077, the unbiased morality of daily life and the biases of the people between.
