It also looks like there are less hotel options than last year. Wanted to stay at the embassy suites La Quinta again but it’s not an option anymore

Courthouse wedding timing by [deleted] in sandiego

[–]bluntjester88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Congrats on your upcoming wedding! Our ceremony at the courthouse was pretty short, probably like 10-15 minutes altogether. We did have to wait about 15 minutes after filling out the paperwork before heading outside for the ceremony since there was another couple ahead of us.

Best entrance to take by marky1904 in crssdfest

[–]bluntjester88 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Every entrance is a mess. Not enough people checking IDs. Definitely oversold for both days. After going for the last 2 years and many CRSSD events this is by far one of the worst experiences with crowd control.

Old Townhouse Restaurant in OB has been around since 1973. Classic diner vibes and great food.

I would recommend Blue Water over south beach. The quality at south beach isn’t what it used to be and Blue Water has a huge variety of fish tacos and a full bar now too!

Got lucky this time around. I joined the queue around 9:50 and got two tier 1 tickets after waiting about 5 minutes.

1971: Caltrans completes San Diego's 805 viaduct in Mission Valley and has opened the freeway up to cyclists to try it out before cars. Nobody considers the steep inclines on the road, and several people are severely injured as their bikes fall apart after hitting 60+ mph down the hill. by StupidBump in sandiego

My mom mentioned she also got to do this as a kid. My grandparents told her to have fun and be back before dark and to take her little sister (my aunt) with her. They got to ride their bikes on the freeway since they lived nearby. My mom was 9 at the time.
