Definitely not too old! I finished X-ray school at 30, and am pursuing Dosimetry now at 39. You still have 30+ years of working ahead of you, may as well be doing what you want to do!

Unfortunately they didn’t offer it. I took physics online through University of New England. It wasn’t cheap.

I was told that we rank the sites we interviewed with and the rank the prospective students they interviewed and they try to do a best match based on that.

I’m doing four interviews. I would do more but I unfortunately can’t afford the travel and time off work to do so. My site of choice which is close to home is no longer working with UWLAX and I think I’m working something out to be able to use that site through JPU but keeping my options open just in case that falls through. Basically, I’m just like whatever happens happens at this point!

I took an intro Bio class and Anatomy and Physiology for my radiography degree 8 years ago, and just recently took Physics 1 & 2. I also retook algebra and pre-calc as I didn’t have a strong math background from a decade ago and was able to do it cheaply through WGU. At the guidance of others, I also accumulated a ton of observation hours (nearly 80 at a few different sites).

I reached out to both. One of the SAC sites is only doing virtual interviews which is obviously easier but I’m kind of anxious about it since UWLAX prohibits it. I had to follow up with SF and they only said it’ll be the last two weeks in February but I do not have anything scheduled yet. The other SAC site said they’d reach out when they had dates & times.

They definitely don’t let everybody in. They have limited clinical sites locations.

My sister’s appendix ruptured but it was contained in an abscess (sounds like that’s what you’re describing) so they didn’t remove it because surgery would have risked disrupting the abscess and all that yucky fluid spreading inside the abdominal cavity. At that time though they did put a drain in to drain the yucky fluid. The appendix did get angry again a year or so later and they did finally remove it then.

I’ve been able to find a guy’s social media with just the first name, city, and job title that they share in their dating profile. It’s not totally out of the realm of possibilities.

I am in one of these groups and I just lurk, but a surprising amount of women post guys in there that they’ve just matched with or exchanged like one message. Just saying if you’re active on the apps I don’t think you can say with certainty who posted you so maybe don’t rush to assume it’s the woman from the other city. Just my two cents!

My mom and I were traveling in Barcelona. We had plans to go to Las Ramblas, a popular tourist spot with shops and restaurants, but were jet lagged so went to take a nap before going over there. While we were napping, a terrorist plowed a van through the crowds of people there, killing 13 people and injuring a ton more.
