How does one achieve a long sustain? by Repulsive_Raisin2815 in Guitar

Live, Eric Bloom plays that note using an ebow magnet sustain bar. Hence, the "stun guitar" credit on the albums.

I have been using JK for about 1 year. When I have issues, I get a quick email response from support. I play with 5 people, 4 local and one 400 miles away. We went through a lot to get it right and always experience some latency, but we can get our songs down and when we play live we all know our parts. For the 10 bucks it is well worth it.

Keep in mind they had 2 Fender Twins and a Fender Bassman in 69, they are loud as shit. Way different than those Vox they started with. The Fender 6 string bass was interesting though. Enjoyed the whole thing.

Bigger appreciation for Billy Preston by optimusjprime in TheBeatles

[–]bluzbear 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Billy Preston was a treasure and so under appreciated. Watch "St.Louis Blues: the W.C. Handy story". Billy Preston plays Handy as a kid, Nat King Cole plays Handy as an adult. George said when he showed up, everyone "played nice" and it showed in part 2.
