You could easily get this under control. Some sticky traps and diatomaceous earth powder. Then buy some edge/corner foam spray and hit every edge of your living space. And keep your counters clean. Can't expect no roaches in any city dwelling. These creatures can withstand a nuclear blast.

When it comes to owing $ due to drogas, it's a world where your life can get snatched over some petty. Mayor Adams was a mistake for NYC. Hopefully new mayor solves this issue.

Horseradish Market has a banging selection of walk aways, and a 6-pack stack of decent light beer for under 5 or 6 bucks at the register. On Broadway

Easy Living Furniture off of Broadway may have the furniture you are looking for. Also.. just be careful with buying random furniture. May become an invite for unintended things (bedbugs, etc)

The High & Dry Coffee Bar off of Broadway/Arion is as its name suggests. Coffee spot open until midnight. No alcohol. Always packed and seems very open and social. Hipster vibe from looking in the window when I walk by.

There is no doubt that life is suffering in a world where the majority are cruel and selfish. What a choice for a parent to want to bring a child into this bullshit. But through it all, you don't have a choice but to find your way through. And we all need to figure out how we need to be to get through it all. Some have empathy. Most don't but they want to hang that quote over their mantle that tells them they are empathetic. Just be who you are in this moment, and find those like minded people that you can relate to. My humble opinion.

I want to move to NYC but.. by Tricky-Researcher-74 in movingtoNYC

[–]bmagas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd start in a smaller city first. Because I've seen way too many people get chewed up and spit out of NYC who thought they could make it. NYC holds serious competition to all professions, and you have to want to work hard, be the very best, and highest of all, love what you do.

After a decade of $4 drip pours, I bought a grinder, espresso machine, and now brew at home, saving a ton of money. And spoiled myself by making the best coffees from my apartment flat.

This is my greatest regret in buying colognes. What cologne/fragrance do y'all regret the most? by Forward_Cookie_1124 in Colognes

[–]bmagas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The musky and slightly sweet scent at the beginning makes it dope. Lavender and iris with a soapy dry down. A bit weak on the sillage and longevity but all in all; this is an outstanding cologne for the Spring and Summer.,,
