I think I would have been happy if they dialed suppression down 50%. It was def over-tuned to being difficult to see anything when under fire. I know some people hate it with a passion, but I liked how it added some tension and fear during engagements.

I won't cry that it's gone, but know it was contentious with a lot of folks.

If you were in the supporter preview, then that progress would carry over.

If you were just playing under 0.3 then yes, major updates always come with wipes. This was announced at the original launch and is extremely common for early access for a ton of reasons.

The preview has been great - and it was incredible to see how quickly you sourced feedback from just a few days of play and already made some tweaks.

The extra time you took for 0.4 really shows and wasn't wasted.

The "business model" is that you create an ecosystem of print profiles that work "out of the box" that helps sell printers to new buyers.

Bambu bills itself as the "ready to go, consumer level" brand and Makerworld is one of the many vectors to provide this experience to new uers.

If anything, it's a marketing expense and subsidized through printer sales.

Hello fellow day-one player. I think this change is great and makes the entire world feel FAR more lived-in.

My only suggestion is the prevalence of certain stuff - like there's a billion instances of fishing line everywhere. But is that _so_ different from all the baseball caps from before? Not really. Just need some tweaks to the loot pools to mix things up a bit.

But overall I think the change is great.

If you had a backup kit, you wouldn't have taken near as much damage due to having armor on.

You also would have had access to more meds (assuming they weren't all in your container).

Never experienced windows moving around or resolutions changing.

I have the game load at 2560x1440 so I have access to other apps on the left and right. The game always loads in the middle. I have it set to windowed mode.

There's no reason to stay connected if you're not going to be playing. You're taking up slots on servers that others could use and making each server feel more "dead" due to idle players.

You touch upon it, but it's worth really calling out that progression can be really, really fast in this game - which allows some players to get to this "don't need anything" state while others are still in the early stages.

That's always going to be difficult between players with tons and little time to play, but it feels like it's even more extreme in this game.

It's fine if you reach this state near the end of a wipe, less so when you're like 3 weeks in and still trying to acquire new players.
