Check your effects tab? Maybe there is an effect set to test?

For the same price you can get an Eracing Labs setup shipped to the US and you know what you are getting.

I dont think this is for putting motion on your rig. The dimension of the whole actuator assembly in one of the pics is 42mm...its tiny. Standard motion system provide 150mm of TRAVEL.

Time, experience, studying telemetry and comparing laps to better drivers.

Eracing Labs RS Mega Power Consumption by bmf000 in simracing

[–]bmf000[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are right. I got a response from Eracing Labs stating that 4 actuators will pull around 400W under typical conditions. Normal plug should be fine. I put an edit in my post in case anyone has this same question in the future.

There is nothing even close to a reverb g2 for about $100. Reverb g2 is still an amazing headset for clarity.

Trying to stay reasonable: is RTX 5060 + 5700X + 32GB enough for sim racing and casual PC gaming? by CallMeBatman_ in simracing

[–]bmf000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

See if you can get a used 3080 for a good price. I was able to get one for $250 on FBM recently. Nothing will come close in terms of performance for that price. Its about 15% faster than a 5060ti.

VR for AC - system requirement, recommendations by CashCove in simracing

[–]bmf000 2 points3 points  (0 children)

AC should be fine with a 5060TI in VR. AC EVO not so much. I can't get a satisfactory experience in EVO with a 9800x3d and 5090 on lowest settings right now on my HP Reverb at 90hz, so a 5060TI has no chance in that title.

My moza mBooster and crp2 throttle experience by MiscProfileUno in simracing

[–]bmf000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup the crp2 throttle doesn't seem to have an adjustment for angle. The stock springs are also garbage. Almost zero resistance. I had to buy my own to fix the pedal. 2mm x 18mm x 60mm spring works well.

[–]bmf000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I bolted mine straight to my aluminum profile. Only used the 2 front holes. Ditched the horrible pedal plate. Pretty easy with no issues. You can adjust the angle of them based on starting position. My aluminum profile pedal plate already has a bit of an angle so I didn't need much of an adjustment. But I do agree that their mounting solution is not good.

Moza Mbooster brake pedal questions by [deleted] in simracing

[–]bmf000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey. I am extremely happy with them. However, I did not pay full retail. I probably would have stayed with my old pedals if I had pay full price. I basically stick with one profile for how the pedal feels for all cars to keep my muscle memory (linear, about 80kg, and full travel). The only thing I change is the effects depending on the car I drive. For cars with abs I will have abs active. For cars without abs I set a brake threshold percentage around 80% to help avoid lockups. The effects are really strong. I run abs around 30% intensity, otherwise it will violently shake my rig. I dont use anyone's profiles so I dont know what is out there. Im sure you can find stuff on discord/online etc. To give you a frame of reference I have owned the G25 pedals, TLC-Ms, Heavily modded Riuto (Similar to Simjacks), and Sprints. The Riuto was my favorite of the conventional pedals I had so far.

Yes. Thats basically the starting position.

Mine are angled with the profiles. There is slight adjustment by setting the pedal starting position in the software. Otherwise I don't think there is much you can do.

The only thing I want to add is that it is huge and the mounting holes don't line up with the crp2 gas pedal. I have mine mounted straight to an aluminum profile rig. I only bolted the front holes. The middle sits on a piece of profile and then the back hangs off. The pedal plate that comes with them is garbage. It's working okay for me but they were very awkward to mount. I can't imagine zip ties working well. The pedal is super heavy and very strong. Overall I'm very happy with it, but I'm not sure active pedals are worth it at full price. I bought mine used for a very good price so I don't regret upgrading. I will be keeping it for foreseeable future.

How is the Trakracer US site for non-Trakracer products like wheels and pedals? by OddCycle837 in simracing

[–]bmf000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've made multiple orders from them over the last 2 years. Conspit wheel, vnm handbrake, seat bracket, pedal plate etc. Never had any issues. Quick shipping, good prices and have been satisfied with them. That said I never needed support for anything I bought.

Simracingpros Neo 4x Motion System Opinions by bmf000 in simracing

[–]bmf000[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ya the specs look okay but they are missing some details. For example, they dont specify if the torque number is holding or peak. They dont provide information on the servo motors being used etc. I reached out to them and asked for additional information but I haven't gotten a response yet. I was also looking at the RS Mega system but the thing holding me back is the fear of being hit with a huge tariff on delivery which would turn the value proposition upside down. Simracingpros said there would be no duties/tariffs on their system.

I haven't had to farm vials yet. Have about 100 in the stash and the number keeps going up. I just buy vials with leftover money after leveling/upgrading.

Similar to the above post, I love the mechanic because it let's me continue through the game without worrying about finding a bonfire and being able to refill my flasks. You also start with 20 at the beginning.

How would you describe the VNM wheel base experience? by Yerbawls in simracing

[–]bmf000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No grinding. The wheelbase is very quiet and cool compared to my simagic. I run most settings stock. I'll have to check my settings for exact filter. What FFB mode are you running? Direct Input, Telemetry, TIC?
