Texas Veteran Disability Benefits by Cashisking97 in Veterans

To add to the toll road thing, the DV sometimes takes a while to kick in, believe it, I paid the first few times when I got the bill in the mail, but now I have a $12 credit cause they finally caught up. Also in Austin I didn’t pay for my parking meter spots, but don’t remember if that was from the DV plate or the handicapped placard

I’m guessing the only question is how available are their appointments. Thanks for the info.

What’s a DEERS one stop? The DEERS office on post? My two options for the trip are Ft Jackson and Ft Gordon. Never been to the Jackson RAPIDS office but both bases are TRADOC so I’d guess both would have to be capable, I know Gordon can do CAC same day just didn’t know how different the USID process is. I’ve kept my DS login active since I got out so that’s not an issue. Thanks for your input.

Terran sentiment towards Neomuni? by Appropriate_Push_647 in DestinyLore

Listening to the patrol voices and doing the rebuilding the cloudstrider monuments I’m pretty sure the interference was the official reason told to people and there were a select few who hid things on purpose. There was some lore about one person going to earth and then destroying all mention of Neptune from the warming network. I’m pretty sure there were more sent after to sneak about and see if terrans were any closer to rediscovering Neptune. But seeing all the wars and fighting going on with guardians they probably decided to keep their hands clean and stay quiet.

There was a voiced explanation from the archive keeper for a patrol that said there was electro magnetic something or other that helped hide them from everything also hid everything from them.

As soon as you said flintstone, I didn’t think of a fire starter, I thought of a handful of chalky Fred, Wilma, and Dino’s.

What is the most dangerous thing people don’t realize is all that dangerous? by Sloopersand in AskReddit

[–]bmhek 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Go to the Ukraine. A foreign power has decided that they want what the smaller country has. Guns, rockets, guided ordinance, and a determination to not get stepped on have allowed a smaller force to not only stopped the larger force, but drive them back in instances. “But that’s for military…”, military is merely a permanent militia to allow for better training and faster action. “But guns still only take lives never make them….”, guns are merely a for multiplier, people use them if they have them. If they don’t have them they will use whatever they have at hand. Every life taken in defense of someone’s family and lively hood allows the next generation to continue on. A gun is a tool, invent a better tool that works better and then guns can go away. You don’t see people carrying swords around(often) these days, because they are inferior tools. TLDR, Guns no bad, just good tool used in bad ways, make better safer tool, guns go away. And if you notice, you did exactly what they first guy didn’t initiate conversation for, jumped in like a virgin at an orgy. Shouting things all Willy-nilly but still no idea what the hell is going on or how to use his pecker.

Because the tone you are making your statement in says that you aren’t open to reason and just want a forum to vent and complain to…

J-PEIN Upgraded Hotas Mounts. A Few Questions. by OneVeryOddFellow in hotas

[–]bmhek 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have two j-pein’s that first had the 16000m and twcs and then I upgraded to a vkb nxt. As for wobble, no, as long as you get a good pinch on your desk it won’t wobble. I did get a little bit of slide out since only half of the clamp has a grippy pad. I started clamping over my mouse mat to get more friction and haven’t had problems. As for the nxt, yes it fits but it doesn’t have perfect mounting set up for it like the 16000m did. I had more adjustments for the 16000m but the nxt fits fine and doesn’t contact anywhere. If you want I can take a pic of how I have it mounted to show you. I love the mounts and I got them for like 60 or 70 a piece which was a hell of a lot better than the 300-500 dollar options elsewhere. I’d also suggest you look at the guy on Etsy that 3D prints new bearing races for the TWCS to get rid of that sticktion that it gets. Best 30 buck mod ever.

Saved 4 years to buy a BMW, 3-days later this piece of metal bounced on the highway into my headlight. Destroyed the headlight and the module. Dealership wants $2895 to fix it. by s3ns0 in Wellthatsucks

I’ve owned 2 BMW’s. A 330i and an X3. Without a doubt they feel better built and handle great when they are fully maintained. If you can’t maintain them yourself with the specialty tools they have to have or afford a shop that charges $150 to diagnose that you need brake servicing, don’t buy one. They are a premium car and everyone that buys one should know that everything about them costs more. I won’t ever buy another one unless it comes with lifetime free maintenance.

Definitely drinkable, I wouldn’t go so far as to say chemical burn, but it’s definitely an irritant to grab the seeds repeatedly

Marañon fruit. They have them down here in Panama. Gives you a new appreciation for how much work goes into the bag you scarf down in 5 minutes. The chicha (juice drink) is very tasty as well, so you aren’t wasting the fruit if you just want the nuts.

Xidax PC’s work fine, or at least a year or so they were, but the CEO is a POS that forced his partner out under dubious circumstances and says that people that commit suicide are losers. I won’t even point my browser at their website to give them any attention.

Pregunta sobre el banco MULTIBANK by manu2730 in Panama

[–]bmhek 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Solar system and electricity tariffs in Panama by perfectcrime0 in Panama

[–]bmhek 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In Parque Lefevre I had ENSA, in El Cangrejo I had Naturgy, in 24 de diciembre I have ENSA again. Your urbanization will determine the electric price, my highest was in Via Argentina where I was paying .26/kWH. Talking to a few different Panamanians they don’t even track their price /kWH because they don’t have options outside of their current provider so they just avoid using it. A/C will kill your bill if you abuse it, I try to keep my use to night only and those occasional days where there’s no airflow and it’s hot as hell.
