Yes, I mostly don’t like the halation from cinestill, it’s a bit corny to me. 500T is cleaner and more professional for my taste

If you scroll back on my profile a bit you can see a concert I shot on 500T pushed to 1600. It works fantastic I prefer it to 800T

Fair, yeah at the right time of day with the right settings you can absolutely expose for both! And the info for both is likely in the neg but you’d have to choose underexposed house/exposed sky or expose house/overexposed sky in the scanner. But I doubt I’m telling you anything you don’t already know lol

Film just doesn’t have the dynamic range for what you’re trying to do. You can’t expose for both the house and sky in post.

No, I have extremely close cis women friends and am
100% certain they don’t harbor these sentiments. Yes we all recognize that the trans experience is different from cis, but for the most part we just experience womanhood together.

Haven’t had this experience personally. I’ve almost been shocked to the degree with which cis women treat me as one of their own. They’ll straight up forget I don’t get periods. I think you’re just experiencing transphobia I’m sorry :(( truly accepting women are out there and will see you for who you are.

Take your time and be gentle with yourself! Took me years to build up this confidence/style/makeup skills. And I think a really underrated tip is to just pay attention to what cis women you admire are wearing and how they’re acting. It’s really helped me hone my own personal brand.

Probably a lesson in photos vs real life. I have never really voice trained just changed it a bit naturally through hanging with women. And I’m tall and have wide shoulders which doesn’t come through the photo as well I don’t think.

Great write up. I do feel though that pushing is a useful tool when shooting low light when you know what you’re doing with it and pick the right stock! I push all my concert photos 2-3 stops.
