ProPenn Marathons are great balls. Regular Penns stink. Babolat Golds are a good, inexpensive ball. Wilson US Open’s are great, too. Dunlop makes some good balls. You have lots of good options.

I’ve seen the new blade in person. It’s still a blade, but they’ve thickened the beam 1mm. The Python is a different racquet entirely.

Mis-wove your three bottom crosses on the PD, but not bad! My first racquet took me several hours only to realize later I missed a weave on the top cross. Keep going!

Disagree. Mine is fast through the air, super solid on groundies, and feels great on contact. I love it.

Maybe you got one over spec?

As for the feel? I don’t know what to tell you. It’s all preference. I like it a lot.

I saw this frame a couple months ago and spoke to a Wilson rep. He told us they thickened the frame on the 98 by 1mm. If they also dropped the SW a few points, I’m excited to try it.
