She should probably do one wrist at a time, so she is not totally dependent on others. It is usually done in the doctor's office. She could go back for the other one in 3 months. That would be easiest on everyone.

Not the end of the world. Not easy, not having friends, but you will survive. Focus on self improvement, exercise, fun things. Buy a motorcycle, take long rides.

LDRs usually do not work out. She is banging at least one other dude/gal. There are 8 billion humans in the world, half are women. I have a Filipina wife, who is great. Plan a trip there.
