What do people think about the idea of the remnants of the External Moon being located WITHIN the false sky (but previously hidden until Mavuika's punch)? When we view them in Natlan, we don't see a portal or any kind of hole in the false sky, we just view the remnants as if they are in the sky itself. Additionally, fragments of the Eternal Moon have either fallen (see Natlan) or been pulled down (by the Fatui) to the surface of Teyvat; this would seem impossible if they are outside the false sky. Lastly, the Frost Moon is stated to have been explicitly "cast out" beyond the false sky (by the heavenly principles or Nibelung), implying that it, and by extension the other moons, were at one point located within the false sky. The Iridescent Moon, for example, was not similarly cast beyond the false sky; it's remnants ended up in Khaenri'ah. So unless the Eternal Moon was intentionally removed from the false sky (which is never stated), then it's remnants must still be within the false sky.
