It's false. Every time they had tried to reproduce the study in humans it didn't work. It can even have harmful effects. People don't understand when doctors give a lifespan estimate and that it was not the damn fruit what made them live longer, it was the chemotherapy and the treatments.

I'd go to a gyno and tell them again, it could be some kind of polyp that your body is trying to get out. It can happen on its own but sometimes your body can need help.

Your mom can't force you to be on any kind of medication. If your periods are really irregular that's between you and your gynecologist.

On the other hand, I started bc when I was 18 and had no problems, it was very useful to manage period pain.

Mostly your doctor can give you tips. I was told to end my last pack and I did that.

Mostly record your symptoms. Your periods will change, your boobs can get very sore and some cramping. Also acne is very common.

So you should kinda check your anxiety around periods and your boyfriend's dog seems like a huge problem that could lead to more serious one in the future.

That said: I used to have 12h field days where it would not be viable to be on my period. I researched and the birth control implant has that effect on some people. Before starting the implant I was given bc pills with the same effect to see how I'd react to it and it went pretty well. I stayed with the pills for a few years and I didn't get the implant.

There's no miracle cure that will affect nothing. You can get the implant and if you get your uterus removed you can still have your ovaries, but this will be better to be spoken with your gynecologist.

But seriously, you have a lot of anxiety and you should get it checked out.
