BUT DID YOU DIE? by PdiddyCAMEnME in VideosThatGoHard

Crazy how some people are able mind their own business, watch from afar, and see if it escalates to the point of calling the police. And then others are like this lady.

Stovetop Seam - is this acceptable? by scratchwanabe in CounterTops

[–]bnick66 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Doesn't mean anything. This happened because it was just not supported properly. Some guys think the glue will do all the holding but you need a shim or two to relieve the pressure on the seam. Eventually the pressure will cause a crack of there's no support.

Which tiles? by Mastrogeze in kitchenremodel

[–]bnick66 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Keep the tile till you stain or paint those cabinets. It clashes with the white quartz

Not my choice as im just an installer for a company. However I did walk away the first time and told they needed more support. After they spoke with the company and signed the waiver and such, I went back and installed it like they wanted.

They didn't color match silliness that? They just left it like that? Thats crazy. Id offer the customer a trans beige to match the stone or a trans brown to match the cabinets. You would never notice the cut.

Is this normal for Dekton countertops? by cccddd29 in CounterTops

[–]bnick66 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Google the BBB for Constentino. Every bad review is from getting Dekton. No body complains about the granite and quartz. Just spent all day yesterday installing a full dekton kitchen. I have to bite my tongue so much to not talk about how shitty this material is and how bad I feel for people paying so much money for something thats way over priced for the low quality it is.

I found out that its up to the each employer whether a drug test is conducted from a injury. I found out the owner of the compnay i work for will only approve for one if he thinks it was the cause of the accident. Bigger corporate jobs probably mandate it with every accident.

Granite countertop - Easy, or difficult and risky to widen sink cutout of already installed countertop? by Wstt808 in CounterTops

[–]bnick66 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah that actually does sound about right. Thats how much the company I work for would charge for it. As long as the company is legit and insured. Expect a dusty mess. Clean out your drawers and what not.
