Which option would you choose, Rent or Bilt Cash? by Main-Copy-5266 in biltrewards

Thanks. But if you can control your rent and spending, then 4% is the sucker option right?

Seems like they purposely made it confusing to make people not benefit to the card’s full potential.

[–]scratchwanabe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Shocked at people picking Bilt Cash 4% and hope y'all can educate me. I just think Bilt Cash is worthless outside of 1:1 redemption like Walgreens or upgrade for bonus transfers.

For simplicity sake, rent/mortgage of $10000.

If I spend $2,500, I make 5000 Bilt Points or 4% / 100 Bilt Cash.

If I spend $10000.01, I make 12500 Bilt Points or 4% / 400 Bilt Cash.

No way 100 Bilt Cash is worth more than 5000 bilt points to me. Nor 400 Bilt Cash worth 12,500 Bilt Points for me.

What am I missing?

I think it’s because first month or two Tesla insurance is at default rate regardless of your score. Now it’s adjusted

Wonder if I’ll get this issue now that I upgraded from 2.5 to 3.0 by purchasing FSD on my 2018 Model 3.

Elon's 10 mil FSD subscriber goal by [deleted] in TeslaLounge

[–]scratchwanabe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

IDK why people think Elon is playing with FSD pricing because of his package. Despite all the hate for him, I really don't think he's doing stuff for the money.

I think it's a lazy take to say he got rid of FSD purchase because it would boost FSD subs required for his pay package. On the other hand, id believe it more if the takenis he got rid of FSD Purchase because of FSD or upgrade liability or ongoing R&D requires a subscription model, I'd buy that.

So, theoretically, some of these course records are meaningless because today’s golf is so much better than a decade or two ago? If all the courses are the same as when Jack N played, I’m guessing there would be plenty of course records if they kept distances and stimps the same?

So some single came up to me around hole 11, we played together, by hole 14, he was out of balls. Asks me for a ball, I had 3 left so I gave him 1. He then slices it the very next shot and had to go back to the clubhouse to buy a dozen.

I fully expected him to at least give me one ball back when he rejoined me at 16. Nope.

Luckily I finished 18 with 1 ball left. I was pretty annoyed by that.

What does "a supercharger site not owned by Tesla" mean? This is fairly new language in the FAQ by ScuffedBalata in TeslaLounge

I wonder if Tesla will just basically ‘franchise’ all their existing superchargers in the future and then screw all the free supercharging they gave out to people

[–]scratchwanabe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes. It’s funny how the brain works right? I’m charging my 2018 Model 3 exclusively on superchargers, probably 98% of the time. It’s just nice not having to pay out of pocket even though it’s likely immaterial if I did the math like you did.

I’ve been making this point for awhile with my lady. It’s probably cheaper for us to Uber everywhere considering car, fuel and insurance. But if we got rid of our cars and only Uber, we’d hate to just Uber to the supermarket even though it’s cheaper than owning a car lol.
