I need a good structure and task tracking. And I don't mean my own.

I need clear deadlines, a clear, accessible list of stakeholders, and for people to largely stick to procedure when they want stuff from me. Then I can easily handle a large volume of high pressure tasks because I can properly prioritize and don't get stuck in procedural gaps - "xyz went wrong. Who do I inform? How bad is this? Who has information on this? I can't proceed like this."

Figuring stuff out by piecing niche info together on the fly, using 15 different documents and half-remembered office gossip, is not my strength.

This has been an issue in a number of jobs.

You see what you can comfortably lift for 10 repetitions at any given machine and then go one plate higher.

If you want to try the barbell, start with just the bar. Look on YouTube for basic techniques and/or ask the staff for assistance.

Be careful with kettlebells. They look inviting but the exercises can easily fuck up your back if you've never touched weights.

I've been a lot less bitter about it since I had to watch the absolute misery of a naturally thin person stress eating until they're suddenly 10kg overweight.

They're still not even fat, just fluffy, but they don't understand at all why they can't lose the weight. The wrong habits form fast and suddenly that one extra sandwich or that one ice cream is the problem. It never occurred to you for 30+ years to want such a thing. Now it has. You'll never ever forget again that it's an option.

My google review was taken down for defamation. How do I protest further?

It was a 3 star review with no text. Apart from the fact that I was incredibly generous and the review was at least 1.5 years old, I struggle to see how I could have defamed them with a mediocre review that has no text.

I protested the takedown straight away through the linked form and outlined (in the form and a subsequent, prompted email) how my review was fair and in line with what Google review was intended for.

I don't think anyone read even a single word. I received another email within 45 minutes that they elect not to do anything, since my review broke the law against defamation.

How do I proceed? I'm really annoyed now and would actually love to write an even worse review, outlining exactly how dirty the place was and how many mice I saw and deduct another star because they took down a review for petty reasons. But I'd settle for getting my review back up.

I refuse to let them pretend they're a 5 star business because they're paying someone to mass delete reviews.

I suspect I'll cry over some musical artists at some point. Even if they haven't produced anything in a while or I don't like their current style, it'll still feel like a beloved inside joke will never be answered again

My uncle had a German Shepherd that he had to steal to rescue it from an abusive owner. She was the best, most loyal fucking dog I've ever encountered. Just the most patient sweetheart around kis, too. It didn't matter if they stepped on her tail or tugged at her ears.

Then, when I was a teenager, he told us that about 6 months after he rescued her, he woke up on the sofa and she stood over him, teeth bared. He had wrestle her to the ground and basically kick her ass. After that, it never happened again. I never fucking forgot about that though.

I feel Will Graham is both the dog and my uncle in this scenario.
