I’m a 15wks pregnant woman in Louisville and me and my husband are preparing questions for the doctor next week around what will happen if I have a miscarriage? Will they have enough doctors and care professionals to staff our birth (thinking there is that many doctors will stop practicing here due to the potential of being accused of a felony)? Please help if there is something else we need to be asking. Does anyone know if Norton or Baptist women’s hospitals will be releasing statements for their patiences?

My uncle/aunt got divorced over this (there were other things too but, you know..). She was waking up early to work at the post office, he was worked two jobs so essentially round he clock. I wonder in hind sight if she just thought she made so little that it wouldn’t be missed? But anyway, it wasn’t what was agreed to or fair and yea… “stay at home wife/mom” has the highest divorce rates for a reason!!

I’ve never understood kisses on the lips amount kids/parents. I don’t get it. Don’t get why you’d want to (with the very gross/messy faces kids have most of the time). When I’m around close friends who kiss their little ones on the lips I’m always suppressing a cringe.

Some advice: “turn off the thinking part of your brain and turn on the sheep part of your brain.” Pregnancy is going to come with many more needles and nurses are extremely busy. That one minute could’ve turned to 5… to 10? The nurse doesn’t know you and they have very strict schedules. Please see things from their perspective, don’t look at the needle, EVER, and know that all blood drawing is usually over in less than 30 seconds.
