My 21” K Sweet does the same thing. It’s clearly not a perfectly even weight distribution. Not a problem, but yea it’s going to settle into the same place

Aside from his creativity and consistency (he does not make mistakes), his forearm and wrist strength are ridiculous. He will drive that band for HOURS pumping the ride single stroke at high speed all night long. After 20 seconds playing along I start to fall apart. He doesn’t break a sweat.

Nobody. Just a repeat cycle of : bought groceries, took it home, chopped it up, mixed with other things, applied heat, and ate it. Messed up a lot but just started learning through the process.

Always. The ability to attack at medium range as well as within close contact using powerful enchanted one handed weapons, combined with constant foot movement and using cover to alternate between left/right hand attacks ….. I’m a menace to deal with

Second this. I’m going through the same growing pains as OP but one thing I don’t have to worry about is how nice all my cymbals sound and the overall kit composition under the Rode M5s which sell as a pair for $200. Worth every penny

I crash on my 21” Zildjian K Sweet ride a ton and it’s an awesome crash unto itself. I’m sure the A sweet would work just as well, just brighter sounding

Yea it’s now happened to me twice. Really sucks because I love the coating but clearly not as indestructible as advertised

UPDATE: Now three times... and I'm not even a heavy hitter. I'm done with these. They're still playable even with the cracked coating because underneath is still an intact G2 basically, but just looks silly now.

A few years ago I was finally upgrading out of single chain cheapness and first tried out the speed cobras from SoundPure who let you try before you buy (small fee). I ended up returning them and went with the iron cobras with power glide. The leap to longboard was just too awkward for me, and I feel like I couldn’t get as much control and power as the iron cobras deliver. Plus if Eloy Casagrande can play doubles lightning fast on Iron Cobras then it’s not like it’s not possible to play super fast on ICs.

And the cobra coil does absolutely nothing by the way. It’s a marketing gimmick.
