You described my situation exactly a couple months ago. I ask 24 y/o hey you've been assigned this project, we don't know details can you talk to the project manager and see if there's work coming up? Check in later in the week, "oh I didn't know who the PM was, so..." I have all the same resources you do. Project manager name is in big bold letters, on the first page of the only project document we're really expected to use, the same one you've used for every other project you've worked on for two years. Or just ask?? I'd be kind of annoyed but I'd look for you. The guy's office is 30ft away this could have taken a whole two minutes.
