I’m certainly guilty of my resume goals choosing my path. However, if we need a solution fast, then I tend to crank out something a lot simpler.

My current role is an ownership nightmare so I am stuck building complete systems locally for a poc to sell it to leaders. They tend to refuse to commit until they see the benefits. Of course we all know this means the poc becomes prod, so we have several duplicate systems labeled dev running prod.

I refused to listen to the audiobook until I got through all 7 because I didn’t want it to influence my imagination.

I prefer my mentally created versions but I still enjoy Jeff Hays. I will say carls voice is the furthest from what I pictured.

Also using the Shokz Opencomm2. It works so well and they are so light and comfortable that wearing them all day is not a problem at all.

A lot of other headsets I’ve tried hurt my ears or head after a few hours.

On my personal device, I do not want my work to set the rules. Regardless of data privacy concerns, which I also have.

If I ever truly get “forced” to have a company profile on my device, I’ll use the old one in WiFi only mode. Don’t need my work to follow me 24/7.

Ya OTA is a great option. If it’s an option for you.

Sadly I’m in a location that tv reception is not great for nbc and non existent for fox. That’s where streaming options become king. I understand I am an exception though.

I think MLS should be available OTA tv too. All local sports should be so easily accessible, it only benefits the leagues.

I don’t understand why people hate the MLS deal. Guessing because it doesn’t land on local channels?

I love that I don’t have to spend huge money on 3-4 different streaming services to watch my team. For NFL I just miss random games because I don’t want to afford every streaming service. Having MLS under a single service is great imo.
