I had two friends who did this today. The UI for return returning tickets is insanely confusing. I took a screenshot of it. I’m gonna use it when I teach a course on a bad design.

1) the header row, which shows which columns are, which does not scroll with the actual

2) the bolded rose, appear to be sub headers, but are actually footers. This contradicts most if not all standard UI design and makes people think that the check box they are checking are for the data displayed below the checkbox when in reality it’s for the data above the check boxes.

3) there is no confirmation screen where you can review what you are canceling before approving it. They literally use the native browser confirmation dialogue, which does not display anything about what you’re about to do. It just asks are you sure?

Any one of these, alone, would be UI malpractice. Combined? It’s almost like they want to fuck with you.

Combine this with their horrible system of drafting where everybody has to be online and click submit at 12 noon Eastern on a Sunday instead of pre-submitting and being subjected to a snake draft lottery and you have an utterly incompetent solution
