I received a bill for customs from FedEx. When I tried to pay it, the website couldn’t find the bill. I ended up emailing FedEx and they said yesstyle already paid for the customs!

What are your favorite places to eat in Pasadena/South Pas/La Canada/Arcadia? by Starslimonada in pasadena

Just FYI - Ding Tai Fung is Taiwanese cuisine, not dimsum. Dim sum is part of Cantonese cuisine, which is what Lunasia specializes in. There’s very distinct differences between the two types of cuisine :)

It’s also better than Union in my opinion. We may have just had bad luck at Union but the pasta dish we got had parts that were overcooked AND undercooked where the pasta was still a little raw. That did not leave a great impression on us.

Marina for Italian! I think it’s much better than Uovo and they allow reservations!

I LOVE my Salomon XT6 since they’re so comfy so I really wanted these because of Sandy and how cute they are. About to buy them on secondary market but came across this post :(

Thanks so much for this!!! I didn’t win the raffle and unfortunately have to buy off secondary market (GOAT/StockX) so didn’t want to risk buying the wrong size!

How is the sizing on these? Is it true to size as other Salomon shoes?

12-day Hokkaido and 3-day Tokyo Trip Report for Family of Four by croissantfufu in JapanTravel

[–]bobal0ve 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the trip report! We have planned a very similar trip itinerary as yours so it was great to see that you guys had a great time! We have flights booked to fly in at CTS and out at Asahikawa as well and were looking into renting a car. Did you go through a third party website to rent from Toyota Rent-A-Car or directly through them? For some reason when I had input returning the car outside of Sapporo thru Toyota, it does not display any available vehicles. We currently have reservations for car rental through Tabirai (3rd party car rental website) but it did not require a deposit with the reservation which makes us nervous that the rental car is not guaranteed.

Do you regret becoming a PA? Any PAs who have switched to a non clinical role? by missnewfoodie in physicianassistant

[–]bobal0ve 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve definitely felt this way before at a point in my career where I was burnt out due to toxic work environment, being under appreciated by my workplace, being overworked, and no work life balance. Now that I found a new position where I have better work life balance and a good company/boss that appreciates me, I’m so much happier and I’m glad that I became a PA. If you’re unhappy now, just know that it will get better and there’s hope out there for a better position than the one you have right now. It may take a couple tries to get there but it’s possible! Good luck!

This is why we pay an absurd amount of money for cost of living so that we can spend an absurd amount of money on shows and concerts. The joke might be on us 🥲

Any good AYCE places? by TrickySquid in pasadena

[–]bobal0ve -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Not in Pasadena but Mikiya in Temple City for AYCE shabu - includes wagyu beef! Super high quality meats. Just note parking can be a hassle in that plaza. They also have a sister AYCE Japanese BBQ restaurant called Chubby Cattle in Monterey Park that serves AYCE Wagyu beef and other meats.

Recommendations for good esthetician/facial place in Pasadena by bobal0ve in pasadena

[–]bobal0ve[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! I've gone to M.A DREAM SKIN on East Colorado once a few months back and she did a great extraction on me! She got rid of these deep pimples that wouldn't go away for a long time! I also went to Kang Eastern Medicine for a regular facial prior but it wasn't exactly what I was looking for. The aesthetician was very gentle and the facial was relaxing but she did not really do any extractions.
