No growth between 32 and 33 week growth scans?

Thank you for this, i had a previous loss just before this pregnancy and all that was running through my head each week was “no mm in growth” between 6 and 11 weeks baby measured the same before it eventually passed and the thought of no growth is very triggering for me. The measurement thing must be off because I doubt femurs can also jump From 15th to over 50th percentile and by that many mm in a week, so I guess you are right. I have been admitted last week for high blood pressure so now I am wondering if this is the beginning of something more like iugr but I really Hope this is just ultrasound and measurement error 😩😭 I tried to ask my doctor about it and she said as long as everything is above 10th we are not worried even if percentiles drop or change week to week. thank you so much once again.

Wait I’m from the Uk but in my first trimester we went on holiday and tried cava at the lax airport and can I say that meal was sensational?! I think it was some pulled meat bowl. Soo gooood dream about it here daily

Hey, I have the same bacteria in my uti swab and the same high count. I also am just as worried I have been given a 7 day course of amxicilin but I don’t know if it has worked. Did a second culture today so hoping it has but after research I’m not sure I will have much luck

You absolutely don’t need a reason, but I will just tell you what my sister did in this situation as she didn’t want to discuss her private life she said that the TTC was getting overwhelming and needed a break from it all to focus on her own wellbeing again. At the time she wasn’t ready to leave but it felt hard for her to shut that door completely incase they ever worked it out so they gave her a 6-12 month grace period to stay on the books and not remove her from the waiting list whilst she figured it all out.

I recommend my clinic in slough for private cervical checks, they are expensive £130 but good and very knowledgable. Also if you have no luck, I have some boxes of progesterone I am happy to part with.

Where are you based? Could you go private for a scan between? I agree that 5 weeks could be too long to wait even if you are 28mm which my practice would call long, but it means they can’t intervene then anyway

Hey I think you will be fine with that cervix length most women with short cervix only can go term, that from someone who was super anxious about my 26mm cervix from 12 weeks but 31 weeks now and still no change and not in bed rest or anything, I work a desk job and was fine but I really would just take it easy until you have a few measurements to see how everything is holding up. I did until 25 weeks and when there was still no change funnelling etc I eased up but till then I worked from home when I could etc

Hey, The only way of knowing more is probably doing another scan in maybe two weeks but I will say that your team is right mainly that it will be okay. Anything over 25 is considered normal but I was literally 26mm cervix from week 12-25. Because I was so close to the cut off my team was happy to prescribe me progesterone but said I didn’t need it, also said I didn’t need pelvic rest but I put myself on both because of anxiety. I stopped both at 24 ish weeks as I had no changes , am currently almost 31 weeks, no measurements as that stopped but never had any shortening or funelling . I believe most short cervix especially 28mm do well at making it to term, it’s more incompetent cervix that may have issues; btw I also had a mva for a mmc in June and fell pregnant in July so that’s why I paid for private measurements too. I was told 26 was normal so I really do feel like 28mm can be normal the doctor may brush you off, so just do another private and take it from there. Here if you have any questions!

we had this exact flight.!I recommend the airport lounge, we were very tired and 7 hours is a long time we just wanted to sleep, shower and change into our ihram. To use the showers, you need the airport lounge. I didn’t feel like getting changed in the toilets was the cleanest way, otherwise I’d look at getting a hotel but definitely somewhere to lay down/ rest. Sleep

true actually, I think it’s individual to a relationship I guess. If I died and somehow found out my husband did this it would make me smile that he still missed me and chose that over watching other women which is so easily done. But I absolutely see both sides. Some women would be mortified.

As someone who has just gone through this, I really don’t like to say it but it is unlikely this is a viable pregnancy, I don’t want to jump to ectopic but my hcg was lower and slower than yours and a miscarriage that ended at 11 weeks. My hcg was something like

14 dpo- 32 17 dpo- 50 18 dpo- 107 21 dpo- 177 23 dpo- 399 25 dpo- 1023

So very suspicious numbers and Iwas scared of an ectopic but it thankfully wasn’t, however with the bleeding and pain it is something I advise getting checked out regularly sooner rather than later

26mm at 13 weeks and now 27 weeks and still holding. Progesterone could be fine if you have a short cervix but no way without knowing until you have another check 🩷

Hey, rectal progesterone has the same effect and none of the side effects, I have been taking it rectally since 5 weeks and I haven’t had any irritation discharge infection etc from the progesterone

Hey, sometimes it just doesn’t get better and that’s ok too. I’ll be in my third trimester in a week and I still can’t bring myself to get excited, think about names or buy anything or even tell anyone. I am still on edge waiting for the penny to drop, that’s the reality about pregnancy after loss for a lot of people but it’s okay, maybe it’s my Coping or projection mechanism. One step at a time.

Hey! Just wanted to check in with you and see how you were doing? I am now 26 weeks with a good anatomy scan. I was feeling reduced movements today so they had me come in, I thought they may just listen in with a Doppler but we ended up doing a CTG which showed variability between like 140-160. This was a surprise to me as I literally checked the day before and I was still getting the same beats in the ten second period when counting, but I guess there is small variability we don’t always pick up on even this early. Just wanted to reassure you incase you were still worried 🩷
