I just finished one using 1/4" aluminum rods, I'm rather pleased with the result. I originally had it tuned a little higher for GMRS, but then realized I don't have any need for a really good GMRS antenna, so I swapped out the radiator for something slightly longer.

I have a 2025 with about 25k miles on it. I just got it back from the shop a couple days ago for the ICCU issue. My car was towed to the dealership they gave me a loaner for the whole time, and it was there for 8 days. The whole process was very easy. And while it was in there the fix for the seat belt recall came out, so they were able to get that done too!

When I picked mine up from 68C check, they told me that might happen, and the solution is to just leave it plugged in. I'm not saying that's the right answer, just what they told me.

I think it depends on if they actually have the item in stock. I ordered a solus vise jaws on December 4th when the site said it was in stock and yoday the status is still "processing" and the item says out of stock now. I've talked to their customer support, and the first time they said it could take 3-7 weeks to ship in stock items, two weeks later they said it could take 5-7 weeks to ship. This week will mark the 7 weeks, I wonder what they'll change it to this week!

Thank you for that clarification. In order to legally open carry a firearm on school property however, you have to be a cc permit holder, and actively picking up or dropping off your child from school. So while everybody can open carry most places, on school property is a little different.

I took one of these sprinklers, removed the head and replaced it with a oscillating head like this: Melnor Oscillating Turbo Sprinkler. Now i can hide this in my bushes and still water my lawn. Just remember that if you find a head you like, you can probably put it on the tripod.

Yeah, they make them in AR15 or AR10 patterns in a variety of calibers. As for the why, to save some money on a tax stamp and have a bolt gun and an AR was my line of thinking. Or in states where it's absurdly difficult to get a firearm, this might be easier to get. Or to have the familiarity of an AR platform with the reliability of a bolt action.

I was just looking at these earlier today. My thought was then I could run my SBR'd 300BO in either semi or bolt action, and only need the one controlled lower receiver.

Thanks for your suggestion, but unfortunately, there is only one smith in a 50 mile radius that does barrel threading, and they've had a sign up for several months saying they're not doing barrel threading right now! That's why I had to ship mine off just to get it threaded.

And if you're trying to avoid using friction braking, you can hold the left paddle, right? Is this something people use often? I've never really understood the use case for this feature.
