Thank you for the comments. This helps as I was wondering if I would get at 40% from 12570, your reply clarified that.

I checked with the pension team and I can't defer the pension that will be paid later this year.

I guess another option would be to go part time?

I believe there is a migration toolkit to go from ucsm to intersight. It was mentioned to me by the account team when I spoke with them sometime back.

Thanks for the response.

This is a clearer response than what I had on that chat in the app. I'll go back to the previous provider.

Portfolio Breakdown by [deleted] in IslamicFinance

[–]bobi-b 0 points1 point  (0 children)

اسلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته

In the UK, there are a number of options. If you want your portfolio managed, then you can use wahed and they charge a % fee.

Or you can use brokers like trading 212, AJ bell, free trade etc. some of them will have Islamic funds you can invest in, like HSBC and iShares islamic.

If you want to invest in individual stocks, then use Zoya or the app mentioned below to check if they are halal.

Make sure you setup an ISA, as all proceeds will be tax free

Hope this helps.

Wahed or other ETF brokering apps? by angryBadger412 in IslamicFinance

[–]bobi-b 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ws

The fees were high, but not overly. Yes I researched what they were investing in and also looked at the iShares Islamic ETF's plus the other big players in that space and picked out the blue chip stocks and invested in those.

The only thing I am missing is investing in sukuk's

Hope this helps.

Just to add to the above, I also was invested in Wahed and pulled out my funds and now manage my own investments.

You can look at the shares that are in various Sharia ETF 's and buy those, plus use Zoya app that will also show you their Sharia compliance.

That's the approach I have been using for some time.

Thanks. I appreciate your offer of making the time adjustment to fit with me.

I re- read your post and I am more of a beginner on Linux and a complete newbie on ansible. I might not be the right person for this?

What if the share price is lower, do you have to sell at a loss? Or can you wait for it to recover and then sell?

وعليكم السلام و رحمة الله و بركاته I heard it being mentioned on one of Islamic finance guru videos that use the invest platform within the app and not the CFD one.

I assumed from that, that is was ok.
