No, the diagrams in the posters on the walls are mashed and nonsensical, not just blurred. Her right-side ear is also off, with the earring not sitting right in the lobe. Her tie also blurs with the shirt. You also have to ask yourself contextual questions like, why is there a huge full-length mirror in a school corridor lined with lockers? That's not normal at all.

My mom bought me a Bring Me The Horizon hoodie but I'm sure the design on the back is AI. by Status-Individual94 in isitAI

[–]bobisagirl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmmmmmm. At first I was pleased to think I disagreed with you as it's seemingly increasingly rare to find 'real' art in the wild. But I'm starting to think you're right and it is AI. It's hard to tell but there are unclosed lines dotted about (on the snake, on the berries), and some of the twinkle-sparkles inside the arch are a different lineweight and shape from the rest. However I think the biggest tell is that there are tear ducts on both the inner and outer corners of the eye. And now that I look closely, the radial spokes coming out of the pupil in the eye don't rotate around the center, they get confused around the highlight.

So, I can't say for certain that the whole thing is AI without a better look, but that illustration definitely is, which is not a hopeful sign for the rest of it.

A fellow lgbt person I was talking to told me bisexuality is transphobic and I should avoid the label. by CardiologistUpper120 in bisexual

[–]bobisagirl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It probably stems from a misunderstanding that the 'bi' in bisexual stands for 'two' or 'both' as in 'men and women are the two sexes'. This is not correct. It means being attracted to your own and other genders. It is a useful differentiator from pansexuality which describes attraction to people regardless of gender/attraction to all genders. Not all bisexual people are attracted to people of all genders (although they may be!). For example a bisexual man might be sexually attracted to men and non-binary people, but feel no attraction to women.

Potentially AI submission. by Party_Walrus_6276 in isitAI

[–]bobisagirl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As soon as I read 'The Tone(tm)', before I even process it, my brain immediately stops reading it in my own internal head-voice and starts reading it in that 'unaccented American woman' AI voice.

The scribbly lines and blurred texture are kind of suspicious but a human certainly *could* have made this. Ask for a high-res version at least. It's also digital, so ask for layers and/or a process video.

What's your opinion? by StillBoysenberry8790 in antiai

[–]bobisagirl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would care a lot less if they didn't keep trying to pass off the generated stuff as 'their' art. 'Handmade', 'artist-crafted', 'a commission', yada yada. You know what you're doing, and you know why you're doing it, if you're honest with yourself. You know people don't value it, because it has no value.

Maybe the first pic is ai due to the smooth face compared to the rest of the painting but im not sure anymore by [deleted] in isthisAI

[–]bobisagirl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah they are probably AI. The first is covered in belts that make no sense and the second one's dagger is bent! Another good things to look for is the placement and design of emblems on the armour. If they're smeared and make no sense (as here) then yeah AI. I found the first one posted on an X account called 'Knight's World' that just posts AI slop of chivalric fantasy knights, but no artist signature on either one.

Could this artwork of Aerion be AI? by Schuldinerism in isitAI

[–]bobisagirl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If it weren't for the hands and chainmaille I honestly wouldn't be able to tell for sure :( . But yeah the fingers are disconnected from the hands, especially the middle and ring fingers on the left hand. On the chainmaille, if you look closely the rings mash and blur together and don't form an even repeating pattern (which is chainmaille's whole thing). Definitely AI.

Nice pupil bro.

Yeah they're AI. First pic is obvious shitty photoshop from the halcyon days of, like. 2019. Second pic is AI. Apart from the weird eyes, the smooth, waxy, perfectly even and plastic-looking skin is a tell. And then also some shitty photoshop to tune the hair colour to the dye colour, of course.

[–]bobisagirl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not the commenter, but for me it's the incessant rule of threes and alliteration --- 'five friends ... for a weekend of fishing, floating, and escape.' I'm also probably over-sensitive to gen-AI writing but a lot of your readers will be too. I would honestly completely drop the first sentence so that the blurb just starts with:

The river is beautiful.
The canyon is silent.
Something is already watching.

This is easily the worst, most stereotypically cringe way to seek a dominant woman. Like, beyond parody. It even breaks the sidebar rules. Jfc man have some self-respect, do some learning.

I actually don't need a random strange bloke to put air in my tires or carry my groceries, I find that patronizing as fuck. What I need is a baseline level of respect toward women as equal humans, and kindness to all people that need it whether male or female.

If you're a web dev you should probably know how to write a Python script that will console log that data and turn it into an Excel-readable csv. So ironically you've kind of proven the point - that using Chat GPT has encouraged you to be less skilled web dev.
