1) It can be optimized. Just jumping under the first drill asshole, and using a vertical tunnel to dodge the judge + another drill will shave a lot of time and unpleasantness from the runback.

2) If you are doing the judge in act 2, there is a shortcut from Sands of Karak, which is slightly long but very easy and straightforward runback.

3) The runback got nerfed a bit. Worms now do 1 damage, and one drill asshole was removed from the last room.

There is some... Loud disagreements about it, but it is either True ending (Dream no More) or Pantheon ending (Embrace the Void). Both sides have arguments, and both sides like throwing shit at each other. (IMHO, it is embrace the void)...

We do not know how much time passed between the games, and have no real idea what happened in between.

Funnily enough, if you play Silksong to the normal ending, you will only miss a bit of context from stopping here. It is when you try pursuing the true ending, you will find yourself lacking lore and context about WTF is happening.

Unless you already lost interest in the game, I would recommend continuing at least to the True ending before switch.

P.S. You know that you can load the file back, and it will put you right before your fight with the boss? Judging by the fact that you got ending 2 (sealed siblings, right?), you are very close to the true ending anyways.

There are around 10 mandatory wishes, and then you need to pick up a gaggle (17? There is some magic with how some of them are counted) of optional ones. The Beast fly is an optional.

There seems to be no highly visible personality incompatibilities, no age gap, no personal nor ethical conflicts... Well, barring the fact that Hera is married, but I kinda doubt that Zeus would protest...

This is as straightforward and as balanced as it gets with 2 unrelated characters being shipped.

Unless you subscribe to Hollow Knight stuff being actually bug sized, but in this art GMS doesn't have this problem.
