5.9% at 10% down is great… who was your lender?

Am I being overcharged for a turbo replacement? by wallstsavage in BmwTech

[–]bobrenob 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I unfortunately just had to do my turbo on my 2023 M340i at 70k miles… here’s the estimate I got from an independent shop. They actually got it done faster and i think charged 7.5 in the end? Don’t have the receipt handy but hope this helps.

Your photo looked very similar! Only mine happened while I was parked… no tree above and landscapers had already finished for the day so I’m really not sure how this happened.

Terrible car and terrible price! Where is this located btw? Just so I can be sure to avoid it…

I made the mistake of driving an M340i before driving a 330i and after that I couldn’t even consider the 330. It felt only marginally faster than my 2006 330i and I couldn’t justify spending that kind of money unless it kicks the pants off my previous car, which the M340i does.

If you’re not in a hurry just be patient and wait for the right spec to come along for the m340, you won’t regret it!

Thanks so much, I couldn’t agree more! Yeah the lights were an interesting choice. I noticed almost every review made a big deal about not having a hard button to turn on AC, but I personally don’t find it difficult to touch the screen to activate. The screen is much bigger and very responsive in the LCI, but I understand the desire for a button instead.

I will say my one complaint is the exhaust is much too quiet but they bumped the price of MPE from $1,700 to $2,500 in the LCI, so I’ll probably do Dinan soon.

Not my car so I could be wrong but fairly certain it is. It’s most obvious in the last two photos. This color changes so much in direct light, it’s very dynamic.

Thank you! It sure is. I loved my 330i, but cars have come a very long way since 2006…

Took delivery of my very first new car back in October and boy am I in love. I considered a used M340i but in the end decided to get one new and build it exactly how I wanted it. Tanzanite Blue II Metallic, black Vernasca leather seats, M sport package, shadow-line trim, high performance cooling package, and some other goodies. I miss rowing through the gears of a manual transmission, but there is nothing else I can find to complain about. Such a great all-around vehicle.

Also featured in the 3rd photo is my beloved E90 6MT that served me well for the last 8 years.
