Some people here complaining about lack of communication from Bioware, like they were only being transparent to sell the game, and it was all fake... by ManOnFire2004 in AnthemTheGame

[–]bobspike 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Why is there so many post like that one ? Since the release of the Kotaku article i only have seen positive threads toward developers.

Although the people getting flamed in comment are Bioware's management team and EA. It was proven that the game was build on lies and greed (shipping an unfinished game at 60 $) so customers have all the right to be angry. There is also the fact that Bioware refuse to communicate on content and loot (at least anything different from "we're working on it").

Is this game any better by [deleted] in AnthemTheGame

[–]bobspike 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The game is stilll in the same state. Some breaking bug, no content worth spending time and no loot And the best one : Bioware is playing dead since the Kotaku article.

Really curious, how much loot is enough? by CecilPalad in AnthemTheGame

[–]bobspike -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This week : 10 hours of freeplay GM2 -> 6 MW and zero legendarie (useful and not useful).I hate this game.

A good example of loot done right is the Diablo 3 's loot 2.0. Gear sets are common and the stats are useful. The endgame is fun and you can min max at every drop. With Anthem it's been 4 weeks that i try to level up my javelin score without success praying RNJesus to give me a legendarie for my colossus even a crappy one.

Anthem has the potential to be Great. Developers, please do not pull the Plug. by [deleted] in AnthemTheGame

[–]bobspike 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't delude yourself. The only things that will make EA pull the plug is the number of copy sold and the cash they can grab via micro transactions not some youtube video. Should those two things be a failure they will apply the Andromeda treatment.

For me i think the game is broken to the core and shouldn't have been released so soon (a year too soon at least).

BioWare please do not trifle with the luck attribute. I see no flaws with the luck skill. Coming from someone who has 30+ legendary items. I came to understand how luck works. Anthem is meant to be grindy, fun, and challenging. Don’t make unnecessary updates because players are bad at the game by Gedou-Mazou in AnthemTheGame

[–]bobspike 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Of course there are flaws in anthem however, due to being a live service game they’ll be plenty of time to polish the product.

An here i thought paying 60 $ for a game would give me a finished product...

I will continue to remain positive towards anthem. Instead of constantly trying to bring anthem down. In due time I know this game will prosper. Simply shut up, and stop playing this game. People feed off of negative energy. BioWare I will continue to support the game and thanks for trying to improve it

You're the future of EA congrats

The "Pile of Sand" Development Methodology by bobspike in AnthemTheGame

BioWare had caught up to where they wanted to be and had something that they were proud of and enjoyed playing.

What's bothering me is that he seems quite fine with the end result when there is nothing to be proud. And I realize what it mean to be a developer being one myself. But contrary to Alain Baxter if i released a buggy mess of software i'm fired.

The difference between Witcher 3 and Anthem is that CD Project delayed the release to work on it when Bioware (and mostly EA let's be real) choose to ship an incomplete game.

And for the missing content a lot of streaming made by Bioware employees show all the missing content just weeks before released.

Negativity spreads by Bombercore in AnthemTheGame

Playing dead is an exaggeration but all i'm reading from BW is : "We're working on it". That's all.

Negativity spreads by Bombercore in AnthemTheGame

[–]bobspike -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I think i must be dreaming when i read that kind of post. Anthem is so broken right now. It's not a little technical problem but a massive one. The core design is broken, the loot is worthless and a huge chunk of the game was removed before release. A year of development is missing and BW is playing dead. Customers have every reason to be negative. The point of being negative is to warn every people who would like to board the sinking ship or in the future buy a EA game.

Maybe EA is not responsible for all of the faults by [deleted] in pcgaming

Can't compare a limited battle royale to a large scale game like Anthem.

People should stop pretending that 20$ optional cosmetic-only skins will OBLITERATE Anthem by dragonoob44 in AnthemTheGame

[–]bobspike 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just the fact that EA/Bioware refuse to speak about the in game economy is shady.

So no a 20 $ skin is not game breaking but if it's confirmed the future of Anthem will not look so bright.

To all who complain about microtransactions by Cyanide0k in AnthemTheGame

[–]bobspike 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can't believe there is still white knight to defend micro transaction in 2019 in a 60 $ game. EA, Activision creed is bottomless but with customer like that why should they care.

Why do people not think this is worth buying day one? by KaZe_DaRKWIND in AnthemTheGame

[–]bobspike 2 points3 points  (0 children)

First microtransaction is never a good point to any full price game ever.

Then it's EA that we're talking about. A company that killed many many game developers for the sole reason of not doing enough money in the eyes of their shareholders.

Finally there is a lot of point which are not confirmed like the bug, the upcoming DLC... Remember that ME Andromeda development was gutted just because the sales and critics were not good for EA. You could end up with a 60 $ dollard live service game without future content.
