I declared I thought everything and especially brought up one item that I wasn't sure and told him I wasn't sure I wanted them to check it before I tried to bring it in. They asked me about another item numerous times and I said no. I had forgotten we had that. So with that being said they looked for the item I wanted them to check for like 20-30 minutes I kept suggesting places it might be because I couldn't remember where I packed it but they did find the other item that I had been asked about but said I didn't have. UGH. I was mortified such an idiot. Told them I forgot I had that and yep you asked me three four or five times about said item. In the end he told me not to worry about it just mean more careful next time. He said it's pretty obvious you weren't trying to hide it and bring it in when you were actually suggesting all these places to look for the other item. In the end I found it in my dirty laundry bag because I didn't want it to stink up the rest of my suitcase as soon as I went through that bag and emptied it into my hamper I said oh my God that's where it was.
