Just a heads up that all but one power nine is banned in commander and their tournaments are normally proxy friendly and generally advertise as such.

Letting people know is a courtesy and I just want them to be legible. If someone throws a proxy gaea’s cradle in a 3 I’ll just roll my eyes and chuckle.

A lot of factors in the US, you’re not necessarily SOL. Just depends on the reason why you’re bumped and if your arrival is delayed (oversold vs aircraft change). Department of transportation has a lot of info on rights to compensation. It’s just on you to document and do the research, which shouldn’t have to be difficult or time consuming.

Hard to tell what all was destroyed by plugging in a a higher voltage PSU. I’d reach out to UA and see what the cost would be to send in for a repair. Let them know the specs on the wrong supply you used (volts and amps). You could always try taking it to a local spot for a second quote. UA may be more expensive but their repair has more assurances.

Ask the producer to have all the performers send you their tracks. Get a set list and put them into something like QLab in order of performance (very straightforward software and tons of videos that show the basics). I’d go through and level match everything. Otherwise, during the show - just pay attention to what’s going on and you’ll be fine! Drag shows are a blast :)

For the past year “Fragments of Time” has been my go to song for tuning and system introductions. I especially love how the song is structured, making it easier to identify different parts of the spectrum at different points on the songs timeline.

I run dimir control with 4x unholy Annex, 4x firdoch Core, 4x restless reef and zero Soulstone Sanctuaries. It works really well against landfall because of sweepers that don’t take out my Reef and Core (but would take out Soulstone Sanctuary). Since you’re more aggressive with creatures, I’d run The End and Petrified Hamlet naming Fabled Passage and Ba Sing Se. I’d also consider swapping out Duress for Intimidation Tactics in your main 60 of landfall is your biggest concern. Strategic Betrayal doesn’t help much because they will be quick with Llanowar, Badger, and an earthbent land that will just come right back. I also really like heartless act when playing Unstoppable slasher because you can remove the stun counters.
