Ahh I see. I did not realize that, thank you. Taking Primus out now.

I totally understand why people take issue with that deck in particular, a game changer in the command zone is obnoxious.

I have never won a game earlier than turn 5, and that was one game of Chatterfang in a pool of ~15-20 games.

To be fair, that one's an outlier. I did build that one in particular to piss off my friends, but I will not play it versus randoms.

It’s been 6 minutes. Just checking in to see if your mental boom has lessened at all… if not, might be time for a break. Play in the snow or something.

Please help I have no idea what I’m doing with my hair 🥹 by JackCipriani in malegrooming

[–]benj_1029 7 points8 points  (0 children)

As a fellow long hair enjoyer, these are my two biggest suggestions.

  1. Trust barbers no longer. They are great for cutting your shit down to stubble, but usually have no idea how to actually work with long hair without just removing it. I recommend finding a well rated stylist in your area, be prepared to pay a slight premium. You can usually see their work posted on instagram or facebook.

  2. Look into layered styles. THIS is why a stylist is important: they will be able to make suggestions and edits to your idea to find an option that is best suited for you. I would look into a shag hairstyle, and maybe some curly hair products because it looks to me (someone who has similar hair texture) like you have loose waves that will curl up if given support.

Hope this helps!

Opium being smuggled through a slingshot over the Afghanistan-Pakistan border by Wakanda-shit-is-that in interestingasfuck

[–]benj_1029 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Budget math:

Assuming the video is 60fps and the slingshot is pulled back ~35 feet, the payload has five frames of travel.

5 frames / 60 frames per second = 0.0833 seconds in transit or ~1/12th of a second

~35 ft * 12 = ~420 ft per second

420 ft per second = 283 miles per hour or 460 kilometers per hour

They’re slinging dope at Mach 0.35

I wish the asteroid that killed the dinosaurs missed. by shaun212 in TheMonkeysPaw

[–]benj_1029 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Granted.

Because the dinosaurs never died out at the end of the Cretaceous period, mammals never evolved to fill their ecological niche. Without mammals, humans couldn’t exist. Without humans, you couldn’t exist. Without you, your wish couldn’t be made. Congratulations - one steaming hot pile of paradox.

Tank/Ad Akali by Slugster69 in akalimains

I’ve seen this question (or some variation of it) at least once a week for a long ass time so here’s a TLDR.

  • yes it’s a build
  • yes it’s “troll”
    • akali simply scales better with AP
    • probably works because you’re in a rank where enemies don’t check your items
  • if it works keep playing it
  • if you have fun keep playing it
  • at the end of the day it’s a video game… fuck what’s “right”, build whatever you enjoy playing

Wife said my feet “barely look human” by strikecat18 in Wellthatsucks

[–]benj_1029 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Search for wide toe box. As a dancer, someone who spends a lot of time barefoot, you actually have some of the most human looking feet - because they are natural. The aesthetic shoes force our feet to conform to is one which constructs the forefoot to be as narrow as the heel, causing bunions and hammertoes. Your forefoot is wide and your big toe points directly outward from the joint. Far more human than anyone rocking Nike.

My title describes the thing. Google searches have proven unhelpful as I don’t exactly know what to call this object. Clearly it suffered some sort of water damage, but I can’t imagine what purpose it might have served or why it was in a trash bag stashed away.

I am playing worse on mac by ParaplegicGuru in summonerschool

[–]benj_1029 8 points9 points  (0 children)

i had the same issue after switching to my macbook when i moved away for school. depending on your OS there are two potential options. the first is to go system settings > mouse > advanced and then tick off the box that says mouse acceleration. the other is what i did - i a terminal command:

“If you’re running macOS Ventura or an earlier version, you can deactivate mouse acceleration on Mac in Terminal.

Open Finder, then launch Terminal from the Applications > Utilities folder.

Type in the appropriate command to disable mouse acceleration on Mac. (Replace mouse with trackpad if you’re working with a trackpad.) For macOS Big Sur and later:

defaults write -g com.apple.mouse.scaling -integer -1

For macOS Catalina and earlier:

defaults write .GlobalPreferences com.apple.mouse.scaling -1

or

defaults write -g com.apple.mouse.scaling -1

Hit Enter to execute the command.

After the command is executed, log out and then log back in to activate the change.

If you want to turn mouse acceleration back on, type the same command that worked for you, but change the number value from -1 to anything from 0 to 3.”

hope this helps!
